Our experience at Chanticleer was about average for a B&B. The room was large, clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was tasty, if a little quirky sometimes. (Apple crisp as a breakfast fruit?) The AC was also a little quirky but eventually we figured out its...More

Lovely town, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. We did not attend the festival, but enjoyed the city. Chanticleer Inn was walkable to all of the towns highlights, close to wonderful restaurants and the beautiful park.

Dear Daisy and Simba, It was lovely to have you both, and your two-legged parents, here! Thank you for the review, I look forward to hosting you again. And perhaps getting down your way over the winter break. best regards, Ellen

Lovely B&B - Great Breakfast! So close to downtown - but beautiful garden and remote feel! Ellen is a marvelous host and VERY knowledgeable about all things "Ashland" and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We will be back!

The question goes to innkeeper's inbox and then links to TA's website. New feature. Wonder if reviewers/travelers will use this? Time will tell
