We recently stayed at Cowslip Belle Inn, which is not a BnB so don't be fooled by the name, in Ashland, Oregon during the Shakespeare Festival. It is with 1/4 of a mile from the center of town making walking a pleasure. Because everything is prepaid, from a deposit to final payment weeks before arrival, there is no check-in or...

First time to stay here as we found it upon our last visit to Ashland. It is a vacation rental, no longer a B&B. We came prepared with some food stuff as they have a refrigerator & coffee maker. 2 sleeping areas, twin/sitting room & king with bath that has separate shower & tub. This room has a patio with...

We stayed in the "carriage house", two studio's with a king bed and twin bed each. Had our own patio with umbrella tables...a short walk to theaters and downtown Ashland. Comfortable and enjoyable. We'll do it again!

We stayed for a long weekend in Ashland, Oregon to attend several of the plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We chose Carmen and John's B&B because it is a short walk from downtown Ashland where the theaters are located. Their 102 year-old Craftsman home is charming and comfortable. We stayed in the Rosebud Suite which had its own entrance....

My husband and I first stayed at Cowslip's Belle in 1990 and little did we know that we were beginning an annual tradition that has lasted now for 24 years. The Cowslip's Belle is an oasis of calm and beauty. I so look forward to our Fall sojourn up I-5. In Ashland we are treated to tranquil autumn days, the...

I'm rather late in writing this review. We stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend in 2013 and had the best time ever. The room (Rosebud) was excellent and spotless. Jon and Carmen are gracious hosts and accommodated our late check-in and lazy last min showing up for breakfast :) They laid out a big and VERY yummy spread for...

Cowslip's Belle proved to be an excellent choice for my family's trip to Ashland for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Anyone who has searched for accomodations in Ashland knows the choices are abundant for a town of it's size. We were specifically looking for a place big enough for the three of us and with a kitchen that would allow us...

We stayed here at the end of Oct a few weeks before the end of the festival. We had the upper suite room as the vacation stay instead of B&B. Room was very clean an nice sized. They had many detailed touches like paper cups in the bathroom and instructions on how much coffee to use in the kitchen which...

After a two year hiatus we returned to Cowslip's Belle, our favorite Ashland B&B. We found Jon and Carmen as welcoming and gracious as always. This time we stayed in the rear extension, which provided additional privacy. They are expanding their Vacation Rental options, beyond the traditional B&B. But the breakfasts remain fabulous, with a different principal Item each day...

The Cowslip's Belle is 0.3 miles from the Shakespeare theaters. We walked to plays, a variety of restaurants, and shopping. Jon and Carmen have a lovely disposition and a lovely inn. The rooms were immaculate and decorated with interesting antiques. I appreciated the eye to conservation with recycling, etc. We stayed in the Carriage House, which allowed us to keep...
