We usually stay in downtown Ashland when we come up for the Festival, but we came last week on a last-second two-night trip and couldn't find anything in town. But, the Ashland Hills was perfectly fine. The rooms are nice and modern, there are amenities like a pool, dog areas and tennis and it isn't that far out of town....

Easy freeway access. The room was very large with wonderful clean comfortable beds. If your looking for some place to get a good night's rest this is the perfect place to stay. The pool area is very nice but the jets in the Jacuzzi were extremely weak. Husband sad breakfast was very disappointing.

We reserved a room at the hotel for the weekend. We saw the 70's nod online, but appreciate it more now that we're here. While it's not my personal style favorite, it's clear they've made lemonade out of property that could have been a redesign challenge. It's clear they've put a lot of thought, time and dollars into the details...

Dear Trip Advisor Guest, Thank you so much for letting us know how your stay was and we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our retro remodel. We arrived in Ashland to visit friends and see a few plays at the Shakespeare Theatre. The prices at the Ashland Hills were so reasonable compared to hotels near the town center. Since we were going to evening performances, we knew we could drive there within a few minutes and find easy parking. Also, the room was large and comfortable...

I was immediately in love with the character of this property just as soon as I pulled in. Even at night, I could spot the vintage flair right away. From the retro font on the sign, to the fabulous architecture, to the mod furniture, art, lighting, and groovy appointments...this place is like a fantastic time capsule! Anybody who appreciates old-school...

Stayed for one night in the Suites section. This is a huge hotel, very nicely redone, still keeps its retro vibe but tastefully decorated. The suite had a bedroom, separate living room with pullout couch and small kitchenette, and large bathroom. Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful views of the hills. Walkout balcony. We felt we got a good...

It looks like this hotel used to be some faceless chain. But now it's a cool, recently remodeled property. Many original mid-century touches are everywhere--- furniture, art, light fixtures! For an MCM fan, this is so cool. But for those looking for fresh, clean, large rooms its a find, too! Staff is helpful. Breakfast is meh. Cold cereal, fruit, hardboiled...

We had a very nice stay at the Ashland Hills Hotel! The location of the hotel is an easy exit from the freeway, but far away enough to not hear any traffic noise. Slept like a baby on this perfect mattress. Found good service and peace and quiet at all hours of the day. Granted us a late check out and were welcoming at every turn. Excellent free breakfast including thoughtfully prepared spa water. Have to drive (or bike) into town but the $ saved us worth it.
