My husband and I went for a short vacation to Aiken, and stayed at the Carriage House Inn. All the staff there, from front desk (thanks, Barbara!) through Andrea, the great breakfast cook, to the housekeepers, went way above and beyond what we expected. They answered all our questions and did unexpected, nice things for us without our even asking....

I stayed here a few weeks ago for a wedding and really enjoyed the property, it's location and the comfortable grounds. The breakfast was good, a couple options to select from and the staff was very friendly. The view from our room wasn't that great, looking into the back area of some restaurants, but overall a very pleasant stay

This inn is by far the best I have ever experienced. Wonderful staff and true southern charm. Can't wait to return for a longer visit. The new addition is spectacular! The steam shower is a added bonus.

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever received from any business establishment. I tried to buy a gift certificate for my father's birthday in the mail. After calling back 3 times it was mailed 3 weeks late. Emily, the Receptionist, took down my card info incorrectly, didn't get the certificate in the mail on time, didn't...

The Carriage House Inn is a lovely inn, very convenient to the wonderfully diverse downtown Aiken restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful, but nothing could make the bed in my room more comfortable other than replacing the mattress; nothing could have eliminated the nasty musty odor in my room other than somehow getting fresh air into it; nothing could...

This place was excellent!! The room, the food and the staff all made our stay wonderful while we were in town. It's located on one of the main streets downtown, so it's so convenient to walk to grab food or shop. I'm trying to find another reason to visit Aiken just so we can stay here again!

The inn has two sections, an antique house elegantly converted to queen suites, and a newer attached section. Breakfasts are served in the original dining room, with charming mix of antique linens, silverware, and crockery. The pleasantly landscaped grounds offer quiet areas for relaxation and privacy. The staff are wonderfully kind and hospitable. All of this comes with remarkable value...
