When you enter the world of Sparhawk B&B you leave all convention behind but get all the hospitality and charm a great place should offer. Super cool, friendly, easy access, comfy room...I'll be back. Thanks Donovan!

A beautiful green oasis in the middle of Abilene full of art. The owner Donovan is a famous pencil artist and an amazing and heartful person. We had very special breakfasts with art and culture lessons. Thanks for taking care of us and beeing a great host👍🏻😄 Jacqueline and Urs from Switzerland

If you're spending time in Abilene, this is the place to stay! The adobe rooms retain their 1950's character yet don't feel old at all. The chairs on the covered landing in front of the rooms add to the relaxation for enjoying a drink on a nice night before bed or enjoying your coffee in the morning. The grounds are...

I've done a lot of traveling and after awhile places tend to blur in my memory. Some are very nice 3 or 5 star. This place doesn't really rate on the conventional hotel scales. It's small, truly unique and memorable. I'd stay here any time over any five star hotel. It is in Abilene Texas; it's only three units in...

We had a great stay at this bed and breakfast. It is a unique experience and Donovan is an excellent host . The room was comfortable, the food good and the art/origami lesson was the highlight of our visit! Would definitely recommend that you stay here if you visit Abilene.

Did a July 4 weekend road trip with my girlfriend and picked this place as somewhere more offbeat to stay. Was a real pleasure; very easy to get to, really welcoming owner. The rooms were basic but perfectly pleasant and very well kept. Nearby train did disturb my sleep (but not my girlfriend's), but otherwise a comfortable night. And then...

Such an interesting place to stay. Modest but clean and well kept rooms. We went to Abilene specifically to stay here and do not regret it. We purchased a bottle of wine, cheese, and crackers from a local store. Took them back to the motel and set outside with our neighbors and the owner (Donovan). We had a wonderful time...

My husband & I arrived at almost 10 p.m. and were warmly greeted by Donovan, our host. The room was immaculate, warm and ready for a comfy night's sleep. Donovan made us feel right at home, presented our breakfast menu options and was eager to accommodate our morning schedule. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were luxurious, towels were soft...

Such a wonderful stop! Wish we could have stayed longer and done the art lesson! Donovan was a perfect host, an AMAZING artist and so welcoming. The rooms are clean and quaint, the landscaping is an oasis to the area, and the details and points of interest around the property are really neat. So glad we stayed here!

You won't be disappointed with a stay at sparhawk B and B . The owner and gifted artist treats you like royalty and makes your whole experience the greatest. The casual breakfast is fantastic. Loved the personal art gallery tour. I just wished we would have had more time to relax in the beautiful garden.
