My room was half cleaned & there were chips on the side of the bed from the previous guest. Someone else's hair was all over the bathroom floor & the towels. The shower was clogged with hair, which made water build up in the shower. That was very unsanitary to have someone else's hair on your feet, in a clogged up shower. I was very disappointed with my room & the lack of cleanliness, especially during a pandemic.

The breakfast was so good… Many options to choice from. But the pancakes in shape of Texas were the best. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My children had fun and to me that’s all that mattered. Oh the margarita was off the chain!!!

The LaQuinta was nice it was easy to check in & very clean. The breakfast was good a variety of choices. The parking was good too. The swimming area was nice & they had a water splash pad for the children.

We checked in on a Saturday after spending the entire day at a theme park. When we got there the hotel was SUPER loud. They apparently had a family reunion and not a single parent had control over their kid. Oh well, the lobby and pool didn’t concern us as we just wanted to rest and sleep. We checked into two rooms at almost $140 a piece. However when we made it to our floor the hallway was gross, and people were running. Not just kids but grown adults. Running. We get into our rooms and they seem nice enough. No major problems that stood out. We showered and went to open our door to leave, and that’s when it hit us. Someone was smoking pot on our floor. Now our entire room smelt like pot. I’m already irritated by the running so I go to call the front desk. No answer and I call again. No one answered. I go downstairs and find front desk sitting at the security cameras playing on her phone while the desk phone is ringing. Nice. Really nice. I tell her what’s going on. The pot, the running, and screaming. She says “there’s really nothing I can do but move you” when I ask if our rooms with be close together she told me she can try for the same floor but can’t make any promises. We paid for two rooms close together as these rooms were for us and our kids. We needed to be together. That being said, it almost 9 pm. After an entire day at the theme park switching rooms was a bigger task than any of us could manage. We finally leave to eat some dinner and come back to a lobby that’s just as loud as before, when we make it back up to our floor the pot smell had cleared out a little but now it had gone stale and smelt like cat pee. We go into our room and I need a little help getting the a/c unit working. I called front desk, and guess what? No one answered. I called again. Nothing. That’s four times now the front desk was called with no Answer. I figured it on my own and finally crawl into bed. Only to be woken often by someone running and stomping around. In the morning we pack up and go to check out I tell the guy at the front desk the issues and he tells me he isn’t front desk but to call the gm. As I’m telling him all my issues a couple behind chimes in and begins to tells us a very familiar story of their stay. Apparently front desk from the night prior was just as unhelpful to them and they also had a pot problem but on the first floor. I got ahold of the gm, who was very helpful and friendly, after explaining the situation and explaining I saw the 4.5 star rating and expected more he did end up discounted one room off our stay. So that was super helpful. I don’t imagine I’ll be staying again and I don’t think a lot of others will be either. Now I know their business is not going to be devastated by me not staying, but with how the weekend went and all the issues I had, I can’t imagine what others went through, but I can imagine what the reviews will be like. Again gm helped a lot, but it was a terrible stay. On the plus side the bed was super comfortable so there’s that. If your going to stay being ear protection and a nose plug. PS… I wouldn’t normally even give a star, but the gm did help us out.

My trip to Arlington was for business, a training course was being held at the hotel. The hotel overall was good for my business; clean rooms, comfortable bed and great amenities. I would go back again and suggest others to try this hotel location.
