Heading to a large city we were not expecting a place so tranquil being off South Congress how wrong we were! We requested a room change due to agh ladder bed and this was executed without any fuss. The breakfasts were absolutely lovely and we loved the resident dogs, so friendly. The location was perfect for exploring South Congress and...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Austin and had a lovely time. We visited with another couple who stayed in one of the private cottages whilst we were in the main house - if we were basing this review on the private cottage it would have been 5 star, but the main house would be 3 star, hence the...

We stayed here while visiting Austin recently and the only thing wrong was that we couldn't stay longer! Our cottage was comfortable, cozy and unique, all the qualities that I look for in a B&B. Our host Shakti made the most divine farm fresh egg, triple cheese, spinach, sun dried tomato omelet EVER!!! She has her own laying hens and...

Wow this was a very memorable stay for us. We were on a 10 day trip through the midwest and southwest and this was an oasis of rest and tranquility. The property is very charming and tucked away in a great neighborhood. You are served a fresh organic breakfast each morning from Chickens right on the property and it is...

Just wrapped up a 2-night stay here in Austin. My original plans called for staying at the Residence Inn, but opted the day before to pick something more Austin-esque. I am SO glad I chose to stay here. I found this place from reviews on Tripadvisor. The Vicky Cottage was wonderful, so refreshing, and a complete breath of fresh air....

My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages for a weekend, our first visit to Austin. The B&B is at a great location, and you can get to most places in Austin within 5 to 15 minutes. You can even walk to the bridge to see the bats at dusk. Yet despite the proximity to SoCo, the property...

We stayed to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The host was gracious and the breakfasts were amazing. We are vegans and the host cooked pancakes one morning and a tofu scramble the next. We stayed in the Carriage House which is a cozy one room space that shares a building with the Garden Cottage. We had slight difficultly managing in the...

This was our first time to Austin. A friend who had been several times recommended the South Congress district, but the hotel she usually stays in was too pricey for us. We're vegetarian, so my internet search turned up Park Lane Guest House, and I was entranced. We booked the Carriage House which steps out onto the pool area. You...
