We stayed there two nights in early Decmber and were pleased beyond our expectations. The suite was clean, quiet and comfortably and generously appointed. The staff was courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

While this location provides spacious apartments, the accommodations are less than expected. Each suite is similar to a college apartment with refurbishment much needed. The bathroom had cracked tiles and the tub, while clean, showed quite a bit of wear and tear. The cabinets were in need of paint. The coffee pot was small given that Summerfield bills this as... We actually stayed on two occassions. The first time was for one night to check it out as a possible location for a gathering of many of our friends and family. We ended up with folks in 16 suites staying anywhere from 2 to 5 days. Everyone was impressed with the value received and the friendly helpful staff. It couldn't... More

I was really disappointed in my stay at what appears to be a great property. While waiting at the reception desk, I noticed that several guests were not allowed discount pricing from their reservations and management has a "bait and switch" policy going on between internet prices and reality. They do not honor AAA, AARP, or otherwise. They engage in... More

After reading many of the previous reviews of this hotel, I was somewhat apprehensive about my recent stay there. I was attending a meeting in Austin, and this hotel was chosen for us by the people organizing the meeting. I read the reviews recently posted on this website, and was horrified to think what we might find. I have to... More

We stayed at the Austin Summerfield Suites on Memorial Day weekend 2006. The hotel was appx. 7 or 8 miles north of downtown, but it was a short drive to get to the tourist areas if you take I-35. The area around the hotel was a bit rundown, especially as you drove from the hotel south to get to the... More

I made reservations for April 30th, for a handicap room at this hotel for a high school reunion in Feb. 2006. I called and confired this reservation Thursday, two days before arrival and asked twice to make sure it was for a handicap room. Both times they told me yes. At arrival, they tell me it was not for a... More

My family has been coming to this facility for almost 15 years, and it used to be one of our favorite places to stay. It is now under different ownership, and is going downhill FAST. I have stayed here 5 times in the last year, and each time I come I see another ding in the armour. On the plus... More

I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Summerfield Suites. First of all, I would like to start by saying that they are no longer owned by Wyndham, they are now a Hyatt property (you can see Wyndham blacked out on the sign as you pull into the hotel). My first experience was that they did not have... More

After using a discount hotel website (not this one) to book a hotel for a weekend in Austin….the only availability took us to this MOTEL. As we approached the hotel it became obvious that it was nothing more than a converted apartment building….with customer service and cleaning staff to match. After checking in (which took 30 minutes) we ran into... More
