This was a very clean room, had all the amenities we needed. Very friendly staff, nice touch with coffeemaker, microwave, ironing board, nice furniture. Close to restaurants, close to major shopping centers, accessible.

Stayed here over 2nd weekend of ACL and all in all the room was what you'd expect, (nothing special),and the breakfast was the same (so went out and got real food). But the real kicker was the lack of any customer service help in house and the fact that I got charged for the room a second time once I...

This hotel was what you would expect for the price. The staff was friendly but immediately when I opened the door to the room, there was a smell of cigarettes and this was a non-smoking room. When I turned on the AC, there was a musty smell which overpowered the cigarette smell and after it ran for a while, I...

The staff was friendly enough but that wasn't enough for me to stay there again.....ever. We had loads of crickets in the bed, luggage, and clothes. Before leaving we had to go through our stuff to make sure we didn't bring anything home. It is not the best of areas and parking there as awful. The last night I was...

I want to apologize about the crickets issues you had while you were here. It is a cricket season in central Texas. We see crickets everywhere. We do everything in our power to make sure they are dead and does not bother any of our guests. At times, it is very difficult to manage them as they come in big...

On Friday the man at the front de was very rude to members of my party! He was loud and argued about a key. Will not stay there again Was treated like gum on the bottom of his shoe. Other front desk workers were helpful and courteous. Smoking area was in a dark corner.

I apologize you felt that we were rude. I want to assure you that it was not our intentions. The person who came to get the keys for the room was not a registered guest. We will never issue a key to someone else or anyone that do not have ID. It was for your safety and privacy. That person...

Note: If you don't care that this hotel sells intrusive ads on it's WiFi, then skip the opening paragraph that follows. Otherwise, read on! If I have one complaint about this Econo Lodge, it's that this trip marks the second time I've seen a hotel sell advertising on its WiFi service. As I mentioned in another review about a different...

Very reasonably price, and nice rooms. Don't let the location put you off. Very happy with the hotel, will return. Plenty of food options, shopping not too far away. Did not eat the breakfast due to not waking up earlier enough, so I can not comment on that.

Positives are that the staff was nice and helpful, quiet area and a/c, fridge, tv, hot water, etc worked well. Plus I liked you could get coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24/7 in lobby and no wifi code needed. That being said...keys had to be redone the 2nd day, main plugs undone-behind bed at check-in so only had a few...

Needed a location close to the UT Balcones Research Center. All other options in the area were well over $100 except for here. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Large room, clean, etc.. If you just need an overnight bed in this area of Austin, its a fine choice. Several decent restaurants walkable across the street.
