Was there for two dinners; the food was tremendously fresh. Great mix of textures and flavors. Portions were just right - not too much, not too little (although I could & would have eaten more of anything served). Nice to be able to see the food being prepared. Desserts were varied and tasty.

As a potential visitor considers this hotel, they must think carefully about how they assign value to hotel amenities. This hotel is above average in price, but that price includes free access to a wide variety of outdoor activities (challenge/obstacle courses, archery, hiking, mechanical bull riding, etc). There are also a small number of activities guests may choose for an...

Travaasa is definitely worth the money to have a relaxing weekend. There are plenty of activities if you are into that or if you just want to relax and enjoy good food, you can do that also. We just got massages each day and did some hiking and relaxed at the pool. Definitely get the all inclusive because it will...

My husband and I loved our weekend at Travassa. We took advantage of the Prickly Pear challenge which was exhilarating and made you feel quite accomplished first thing in the morning. We also loved the Equine experience which allows you to really understand what you project to others and what type of energy you exude. Give Copper a big hug...

I live on the east coast and my college friend lives on the west coast, was looking for a place to meet somewhere in the middle for a girls weekend. My friend found this place and so glad she did! this is a really lovely place but it is about 35 - 40 mins from Austin. We liked it but the rooms, while nice, are average/basic. The property itself is a treat. They leave smore fixings out by a communal fire. The property's restaurant is very good. I am not sure what this is missing to keep me from rating...

Just returned from a weekend at Travassa with my wife, had a great time and will certainly return. We packed in as much as we could over a weekend and enjoyed doing things that we would not normally do. We particularly enjoyed the giant swing, pump track, mountain bike riding, harmonica (yes harmonica), and the equine encounter. The two cowboys...
