We spent a totally relaxing few days at the B&B Spa, enjoying everything the East Wing suite had to offer: fabulous fireplace (with the kindling set up and ready to light), private access to an indoor pool, stargazing through the skylight over the bed, and a massaging chair in the room. The East Wing is like staying in a cabin...

This place is evil, Like the Bates Motel. The house is for sale, the owner spends nothing on upkeep, and doesnt even stay there at night, this is no "spa" this is an old house, the neighbors cat kept coming for food, the mosquito's never quit, the owner turns the air conditioning off at night to save money, during the...

This was our second time to stay at this unusual B&B with character. Stayed in the East Wing which is spacious and has a great king sized bed. Loved the indoor pool which has warm water and great jets. Also took advantage of the sauna. So very close to Zilker Park and to downtown. The proprietor Jule was very helpful...

Was not impressed. I stayed in the EAST WING.... I am guessing that you are paying for spa amenities. The room is impressive in size and funky chalet style , but that is it..It looks better on the website. have been to many, many, lovely B and B's and have spent from $129- $379 a night for different occasions all...

I think in the day this probably was a very pretty place....now it needs major renovations. The outside area is overgrown - no place to sit and relax - chairs are broken and dirty - there is no fountain as implied to sit and enjoy your breakfast - the hydrotherapy pool is nice - but since the place looks so...

I can't believe I forgot to review this place! My husband & I spent our honeymoon in the East Wing March '08. Upon arrival, Jule was very accomodating & just had a serene sense of well being. She provided us with daily breakfast treats (cereal, orange juice, bakery delights, etc). Any requests we had, she made sure to take care...

The palace room is beautiful.....very well appointment and a time to dream, relax and be in one of the most romantic spaces ever. I loved the fact that there was no tv - who needs a tv when we have each other - beautiful music and a majical setting. So close to Zilker Park - my partner and I easily...

I just finished reading a couple of negative reviews of this establishment and it completely boggled my mind. I have stayed at the b&bp&s twice and am returning in a few weeks for my third stay. It is just an overall wonderful experience. The proprietor was extremely helpful, recommending eating establishments, music clubs, private massage, etc.. The decor is almost...

I have stayed at this bed-and-breakfast several times in different rooms. The rooms I've stayed in are large -- much larger than any hotel room -- and I liked the privacy of a residence vs. having a public hallway outside my room door. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the set up -- mini-fridge, microwave, plates and silverware, etc --...

“We loved the East Wing, with late-night access to the pool. Be aware that it has skylights and may not be the best choice for sleeping in late on a sunny day.”
