"Spartan"-adverb for simple, frugal, austere. Despite a >$200 charge this is the best word I can use to describe the room. It now seems to be in vogue to give guest virtually no place to store clothes. We found one 3- drawer chest in the closet which you can use while the closet doors automatically closes on your butt. There...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Great location with Starbucks, restaurant, mini sushi bar & nice luxiourious suite & patios overlooking Ladybird Lake. 2 adults, 3 kiddos so we usually get a suite with a pull out sofa. Although, this sofa lounger didn't need to be pulled out, it was very large; comfort was typical for a sleeper -10 yr old stated. Separate area for sleeping...

Hello Hortencia - Glad to hear your family had an overall great stay. We hope to have you back in the future - but we also want to make sure you have an awesome meal. While Southwest Bistro might be closed on some dates - our Marker 10 bar is very much open and accommodates some great food options that...

Came to town to attend a concert at the Moody Theater, & chose the Hyatt. Great place to stay- within walking distance of downtown, 6th St, South Congress Ave and the Moody Theater. We walked everywhere!! Great views over the Lady Bird Lake and downtown. It's such a beautiful skyline- especially at night. We loved our suite on the 15th...

The hotel is located near the bat bridge and within walking distance to downtown Austin. There are canoes for rent and a nice trail for a hike. The hotel is beautiful and staff helpful. We absolutely love this hotel.

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Austin, Wonderful staff, excellent clean, good size rooms, next to lake , good food, next to lake. The hotel is a short walk to downtown Austin, plenty of cabs at the ready at the hotel to take you there if you do not wish to walk.

I had meant to book into the other Hyatt but this one turned out to be better located. It is on the south side of Lady Bird Lake. It was close to Lady Bird Park where free concerts were held and the Bat viewing cruises. There were three of us but the double queen room was really too small. This...

The property needs a bit of an adrenaline injection. The main restaurant closes much too early and it appears only one elevator worked during much of my visit. Very nice views of the river and excellent housekeeping performance were some of the highlights. The food quality for the onsite conference was a bit uneven, but overall acceptable.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Austin on numerous occasions. After living in Austin for over 20 years, it feels like coming home! The staff is awesome and customer service is excellent throughout the property. I always bring my bicycles and the valet service makes me feel like they look after me! Thanks for doing such a...
