I've stayed here before -- it never disappoints. from the friendly people outside to the people behind the front desk, I have always felt incredibly welcome. I'm a platinum member and enjoy the club floor amenities -- lounge is large and the food is nice. Rooms are large and always clean. But, this time, ALEX FROM SECURITY gets major kudos....

I spend about 200 nights a year at hotels and this is consistently in my top 5. They have great service to go with superb ambiance. The rooms with a balcony facing the atrium are nice as you can enjoy the Christmas decorations on the lobby level. Concierge lounge is also very nice.

I was here on a business trip and only stayed one night. I didn't have time to enjoy any of the amenities. The room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. No complaints.

Had the Sunday brunch. Food was nothing special. There were 10 of us and the place was dead. They added 19% for tip because of the size of our party, which I think is ridiculous. I am not European, I tip, but do not want to be forced to tip 19%. I will not go back. Too many other options...

Nothing to complain about but the building which has this massive atrium feels slightly lacking in atmosphere and totally in intimacy. The coffee shop is bizarrely dwarfed by the atrium and the bar area is short of really any comfortable seating - very utilitarian. The rooms are OK, but a little tired. All in all, other than the fantastic check-in...

I stayed at this hotel for business recently. It was packed and seemed incapable of dealing with the number of guests. Elevators were not working properly. Even Concierge Lounge was overrun with unruly children and their equally rude parents. Not a typical Marriott experience.

So having been in Austin many times, this was my forst stay at the Renaissance and I while the bedrooms are very nice standard there are some issues. which you might find surprising in a hotel of this cost. The first and most annoying issue is that the entire hotel is built around a atrium in the center of the...

Was recommended this property due to proximity to my client. Was very underwhelmed. Property feels outdated and like they are taking advantage of being the "cool kid on the block" Front desk staff was new and had the "in training" name tag which designated him as such. Fine. But there was no one shadowing/helping and as such check-in (which I...

Walked into the hotel on November 12, 2016. We had 2 hotel rooms which were connected in the reservation we made through the hotel 2 weeks prior. My wife and I and sister in law walked into the lobby at 4:30pm in which we had been driving to get to the hotel for about 3 hours. When we arrived only...

I visited this hotel for a couple of days because a conference was being run here. I used one of the guestrooms to get ready for the Gala on day 2 and therefore had a first hand experience with the accommodations. The room was large, with two comfy queen size beds and plenty of space around it that made you...
