Enjoy the old school ski experience. Relax with new and old friends at the lobby fireplace, enjoy never-ending phenomenal food, and wear it off skiing on the best mountain in the country without having to contend with snowboarders. You can't beat this friendly happy rustic skier atmosphere. I've been staying at the Peruvian 14 years and am looking forward to...

We had stumbled on the Alta Peruvian Lodge the first year we skied Snowbird when we were desperate to find a decent place for dinner that had a little charm. The place made such an impression, we decided to stay there the following year for a four day ski trip. The lodge is "old school" with high beams, a huge...

Was a busy weekend and I came in late from NYC as the storms were coming. Snowbird and Alta were booked out but I managed to get a dorm room at the Peruvian Lodge. Hadn't stayed in a dorm for years - but a bed's a bed. The dorm is kind of split off into 2 bed rooms. (single) bed...

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here with my family and it was great! Everyone was friendly and helpful. One staff offered his personal advil when the store was out and we had an injury. The food was wonderful and they took into account all our allergies and intolerances. Such a cozy environment where kids could hang and play...

This is a great place to come back to year after year and see the same people who want: no frills, no attitude, no noise after 10 and great skiing and real people. Please, all jerks or those looking for a cool or high end experience to brag about: STAY AWAY. We don't want you. Large groups of young people...

The Peruvian has great character and is infested with some of the coolest characters you will ever meet. People who love the camaraderie of an old school ski lodge congregate here. Great fireplaces, solid food, nice pool and hot tubs and an excellent sauna. Andy will take care of your ski needs on site and the place has a great...

Happy to have found the Peruvian. Easy going lodge with no pretenses. Dorm was good value and made the trip more affordable. Good food, plenty of common areas to relax and energetic staff made Alta stay a good one. Will return.

Super place that is as authentic as they come. Know first this an easy going place geared around the skiing. All three meals are provided and are done well. Fancy- no! Darned good- yes! Rooms small and the communal space is friendly and casual. Hot tubs are great as is the pool. Every member of the staff gets it and...

My husband and I have been staying at the Peruvian every year since we started dating. I love that meals, snacks, and tips are all included in the price. The staff is incredible. The rooms are simple but clean, comfortable, and very affordable. We always have great conversations with the other guests and so many seem to come back yearly...
