We stayed for a skiing vacation. The lodge is legendary, but 'golden faucets' it is not. The staff, mainly constituted of ski bums in their twenties, is absolutely awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and so professional, they made the whole stay stellar, notwithstanding uneven food and less than top shelf accommodation.

I was traveling on business and had a couple of days to squeeze in some skiing. I read about another guest's stay and decided to stay at the Peruvian. The meals were great and I enjoyed meeting such a diverse group of people. Highly recommend staying at Alta Peruvian Lodge.

My friends have been coming here for 25 years, and I joined them last year. A very warm, friendly, and informal environment. Location is great, and the people couldn't have been nicer helping us out (getting to Snowbird, helping me ship skis there). Will definitely be back next year!Very reasonable for slopeside accommodations.

We've been coming as a group for 25 years and we are always delighted with the experience. The proximity to Alta skiing, rooms, food, hot tubs, bars, staff...always perfect! We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! Definitely oriented to the serious skier. It is all about skiing at the Peruvian Lodge.

Love this place and if you are a hard core skier who is focused on great skiing, good accommodations and nice meals.. this is for you. All meals are included which is nice... there are a few nice meeting spots for groups which include the lobby area and the TV lounge which screens 1st run movies.

Perfect location for access to Alta and Snowbird. All meals included which is convenient and good quality. Sparse rooms with small beds, toilets and showers. No televisions in rooms. Small bar on premises.

The Peruvian is a legendary skiing spot. Skate out, ski in with all the amenities that you need for a great ski week: ski shop, bar, hot tub, restaurant, ping-pong table, lounge and a couple TV's. The staff are great and everyone there is after one thing - epic Utah POW.

If you are looking to ski from a traditional historic ski lodge without all the glitz and glamor, this place can't be beat. Small, all inclusive, super friendly and everything you need for a great ski vacation. Food is very good, with ski shop in the lodge. Relax in the evening or afternoon break in front of the large fireplace.

Friendly staff, interesting fellow guests and the best powder in the world- still fun after 30 years of intermittent visiting by me. Great to stay in Alta- on big powder days the road closes and there can be long delays getting up the canyon if you need to commute. Appreciated shuttle to lifts. Rooms are basic- but really didn't spend...
