We had the pleasure to stay here for 3 days during our 3 week round trip through the west of the US. We had read promissing things about this place but our experience has exceeded our expectations. Coming from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, we got to experience what we know from tv and the movies; living and working at a ranch,...

Just finished my 6th cattle drive at the Rockin R Ranch. Needless to say I really do enjoy them. They have been shortened to 4 days which is probably good for most people because you are in the mountains rounding up cattle for 7-8 hours most days. The horses are very good working quarter horses. Brandi and Brandon, the ranch...

So we went for 3 nights in August and did enjoy most of our stay. The ranch hands were very pleasant and helpful. What you need to realize is that this ranch is priced 25 % of something in Montana or Colorado so expect to get a different experience than those places. Food is good but not excellent. Each meal...

I don't normally (like ever) write reviews but have felt very strongly to leave one for this place. Mostly because the staff, or guides, for all of the activities made such an impact on our experience. We wanted a last little getaway for summer that wasn't our normal beach trip. We're in Las Vegas so we started searching east instead...

My son and I just spent the better part of a week on a cattle drive here. But to just review the cattle drive is doing the Rockin R an injustice. The lodge itself is beautifully done. Lots of beams and hunting trophies. The room was large and very comfortable. The food great and plentiful. The grounds are full of...

Took my granddaughter from North Carolina and we had an unbelievable time! Every day we had an itinerary suited to us as experienced riders and all the activities were more fun than we expected! The staff was so good (especially Kristen and Cameo), it was late in the summer and they showed June enthusiasm ! The FOOD... we loved it!...

The very good rooms are located in a renovated part of the Ranch. Food is average, but offered is full board. Don't miss the check in at noon, otherwise you'll miss your lunch and the activities in the afternoon: horseback riding, archery, lasso, hiking, line Dance and eve more. For our son Rockin R Ranch was the best part of...

We reserved the whole facility of the rockin r ranch for our family reunion. My mom who is a widow wanted to give her family a weekend of memories with each other for Christmas. We had 140 family members attend from ages of 85 down to a month old baby. Fun was had by all! The Cowboys and cowgirls that...

I was there last year and the food there is super delicious, especially the breakfast buffet is amazing. The people there are very friendly especially Brandie and Brandon. The horses are very pleasant to ride, altough most horse trails are pretty much set out for beginners. I went to the staff and asked if I could go and ride with...

We had a large family reunion here over 4 days and it was the best one we've had yet. With 50+ people it can be difficult to keep everyone happy and busy. But the ranch was perfect. There were staff members when our family wanted staff to help us and they left us alone to do family time when that...
