This was the highlight of the trip, and it was planned last minute! I knew I had booked this B&B for only one night, but didn't tell my husband that it was Norman Rockwell's former home in Arlington--was he surprised! We were supposed to be doing various covered bridge pictures of several in the area and since this B&B was... More

Two things separate a very good B&B from an excellent one. 1. When an owner lives on the premises and works the establishment. 2. From the first hello to the goodbye you felt like you've known this person a very long time. We stayed here over 20 years ago when under a different owner and we just had to return... More

First, let me say as an inn connoisseur that the hosts of the Inn on Covered Bridge Green are exceptional--as warm and charming as any I have ever met. Beyond that, the setting is a lovely New England fantasy, with unspoiled views toward the village church and a red-painted covered bridge. My room was upstairs in the main house--what was... More

My best friend and I were privileged to spend two nights in Norman Rockwell's studio! Our hosts Clint and Julie were so inviting and helpful..the studio was beautifully appointed..beds very comfortable and it was such a thrill to inhabit the same space where Rockwell painted some of his most iconic works ! The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. So grateful... More

My boyfriend and i were looking for a tradition New England location to elope and when i saw this inn by a covered bridge and a chapel, i thought it looked perfect. I’m also a Norman Rockwell fan so when i read that this was his home i knew this was the right place for us. Julia, the inn keeper... More

A must go to. This has been the most memorable Inn we have stayed at. We arrived and found our room with fireplace lit waiting for us. The room was cozy and romantic, Breakfast the following morning the Inn owner sat with us and talked to us making us feel at home. History was shared about the Inn. A must... More

Stayed 2 nights last week in Sept. This is the Norman Rockwell House and premises and it's everything you would want in a country inn at a reasonable price. Innkeepers, Clint and Julia are extremely accommodating and warm, serving breakfast to your dietary preferences in a beautifully warm and inviting dining room setting. They even invited our parents, who are... More

We stayed here for a couple nights during a recent vacation to the Northeast. We are big fans of Norman Rockwell, so it was a very special experience for us to be able to stay here. They have done a marvelous job of preserving history here. The only thing that could have made it better was a fire pit in... More

We stayed here for a weekend after searching around last minute on a very busy weekend. The Vermont leaves were peaking and most B&B's were booked up. The place is miles off the main road in a fairly secluded spot. Breakfast is a 8:00 and 9:30 - you sign up for which you want the day before. Breakfast was good... More

My wife and I just completed our sixth stay in the last ten years at this remarkable B&B, the former home of Norman Rockwell. And we'll be back again, without a doubt. Superlatives pale when attempting to describe the house, the grounds, the history, the ambiance, the accommodations, the gracious hospitality and the scrumptious breakfasts. Over the years, Clint and... More

“We have stayed in them all and there are no bad rooms. When travelling with friends, Rockwell's studio is perfect. When it's just the two of us, our favorite rooms are probably Rockwell's bedroom and Pondering on the Porch.”

“We stayed in the 1792 room and it was lovely. It is detached from the main home, and you need to go outside to actually get into the room itself. While it adds to extra privacy, I can see it being an issue should it rain, or if it's very cold and snowing outside.”
