The hosts Orquida and Dan were extremely accommodating considering my odd travel schedule. I typically came in late and had to leave very early in the morning which unfortunately meant that I had to miss the breakfast experience. Yet, I greatly enjoyed the freshly brewed coffee and a nice fruit cup prepared by Orquida who was up before me in...

We chose Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast on a friend's recommendation although we were really just interested in using it as a base of operations while we spent time in Charlottesville but we wish now that we had more time to truly take in other nearby sites. We were welcomed at the door by a delightful couple who were both...

This was my boyfriend and my first trip like this as well as our first B&B experience. I had very high expectations for the weekend. Our experience far exceeded what I expected. The house was so peaceful and relaxing. The food was amazing. We had a full day Saturday and did not have to worry about making reservations because it...

We spent our anniversary at the B&B. We found it cosy & relaxing. The cookies were delicious, the drinks readily available. Even a complimentary glass of wine in the evening. We found the bed a little firm as we are used to a pillow top. The breakfast was delicious. This was our first experience at a B&B. Over all it...

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was brilliant. Room was spacious and the bed very comfy. Breakfasts were a real pleasure. Our hosts were very helpful with local tourist advice. I would heartily recommend this B&B to anyone. There was also a PC with free internet access although it was a lot slower than I am used to.

Me and my husband were returning from visiting family in D.C, when we decided to stay at a bed and breakfast for the second half of our vacation trip. I have stayed in bed and breakfasts before but this was my husband's first experience. Orquida and Dan Ingraham were very pleasant, attentive and helpful with local eateries and destinations. The...

Afton Bed and Breakfast is a high quality establishment at a very reasonable price. It is a small drive off of 64, but the scenery is lovely. The home is built in the middle 1800s, but is well cared for which adds to it's comfort. It sits on a lovely hill of a huge, well-kept yard. The guest areas and...

My daughter and I were traveling from Atlanta and decided to stay at Afton Mountain B & B. We loved the quiet and peace. There is enough to do around, but we just wanted to get dinner and enjoy the surroundings. It is very clean, nicely decorated and the owners are amazing. The house is very tastefully done. It has...

Breakfast was outstanding and we had a wonderful time visiting the local wineries, all organised by Orquida...
