We booked this hotel through JTB, with a package including round trip train ride and two-night stay, for about 300 US dollar per person. This price for onsen trip is considered quite cheap in Japan, so we weren't expecting much. The hotel is about five...More

I stayed at Nakazawa Hotel Village this fall. There are free shuttle bus services to and from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. There are two buses every hour e.g. 11:20 & 11:50. You do not need to book it. Just need to be there at Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal and look for their shuttle bus that says Nakazawa Village. I think it was a navy blue mini van. The info is on the hotel web site under "Acccess" as well.
