Shkoder was our most expensive city in Albania and also the most crowded. Maybe because the weekend we've been there was also full of weddings. However we found the Kakudu based on good tripadvisor ratings and have been not disappointed: Good location, parking spaces for our bikes, rooms as expected (small, a bit run down, but clean). Breakfast was also...

Stayed here in October 2016. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the hotel has a old architecture style so you might be more interested in this. Breakfast was tasty and they offer you free bikes if you want to ride around the city (although there is no bicycle track anywhere in Skodra)

Hotel Kaduku is a real gem! It is right in the center of Shkoder, in easy walking distance of charming Rruga Idromedo and the wonderful museum of photography, and also the square where the long-distance coaches stop. It's housed in an old villa which has belonged to the family who run it for generations. We stayed in Room 1, which...

Excellent, clean , very central, family owned hotel . Good , helpful English speaking staff (ask for Brian) who can arrange trips to Lake Koman etc for you. Tucked behind the Red Bricks Hotel by Sheshi Demokracia ( Democracy Sq) and if you're driving you'll probably miss the entrance road first try,but just go around again. Close to shops ,and...

This is a good hotel. Central, and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and sights. The building is more attractive inside than out and resembles more a house than a hotel. We had a traditional room on the first floor. It was well equipped with TV, fridge, a/c, which we did not need, and the wifi was excellent. Breakfast was...
