I stayed here as part of a volunteer mission and as a break we enjoyed Rurre for a few days, it was a charming rustic place to stay. Clean, friendly staff and good location. would stay here again if ever in the area

Of the many hotels in Rurre, the Safari is indeed one of the best. It's located a bit away from the center, but a short 3 Bs / 2 min moto taxi ride from the center. The rooms are quite spacious, most if not all are on two levels, with a tiny (dark) bedroom + bathroom downstairs and a larger...

On the exterior this hotel looks to be the nicest available in Rarra - unfortunately it is not and not worth the more expensive price tag when compared to other lodgings in town. The rooms are tired looking and the bathrooms are basic and flood the floor. When I stayed the power went out on many occasions and the wifi...

I first visited Rurrenabaque 10 years ago and stayed at Hotel Safari. The location is good, away from the bars and discos meaning no noise and also the swimming pool is well maintained and a decent size. Beds were very comfortable too. Glad to say nothing has changed in that respect. In fact nothing has really changed at Hotel Safari...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The good - the room was clean despite being very basic with a kind of grim character; the grounds/lawns were lovely and it has a fairly clean pool. The average - the buffet breakfast of eggs, dry cakes ("pastries"), fruit juice and hard bread was mediocre but ok; the ensuite bathroom...

But expensive for what it is. Very large duplex room with double and. Single beds. Good location on the edge of town but there was noise from a local disco until 5am. The staff were very helpful and cheerful which made a nice change!! At 330 bobs, it is about 25% overpriced for the town IMHO.

Safari Hotel is located in the far end of Rurrenabaque where it is more quiet than the rest of Rurre and still only takes 10 minutes to walk to the commercial part. The rooms are small and basic but clean. The staff is friendly and you get a good service at reception -BUT smoking is allowed in the rooms and...

After staying in grimey noisey Hostel Curichel, this place was a dream come true. The rooms are a little dated, but who cares? They are clean and they are loved...all the little extras are there; towels, extra blankets, AC, a TV, a fridge with cold drinks in it, a little bedside lamp that WORKS. Plus, the hotel is set in...

We stayed here after our Pampas Amazon tour, and it was heaven. First - the hotel was so helpful, after numerous flight delays/cancellations/changes, we had to change our dates at the last minute, which they did with no hassel and no extra charge. Second - they picked us up at our tour operator's Office, drove us into town when we...

When our flight was cancelled due to rain, we were forced to stay an extra night in dreary, hot Rurranebaque. Having sampled the delights of the Hotel Oriental (note sarcasm) the previous night we decided to try the Safari at the other end of this 10 block town. The grounds are lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There...
