This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Manaus in the busy and congested commercial center. The hotel is a bargain if you want to save money. The accommodations are minimal but sufficient. Do not expect luxury.

Driving down the street to the Lord Hotel at night you would be forgiven for thinking really bad things about the place. However, during the day the place transforms into a bustling market place full of life and colour. The hotel itself is a bit rundown and the carpets need replacing. The excellent staff more than made up for the... More

Stayed here with friends for 3 nights during the last World Cup match in Manaus. Located in downtown Manaus, very close to the port or 'marina' the surrounding areas at first appeared suspect but on venturing out found the police presence made the place more than safe and the locals were more than pleasant when interacted with. Most importantly the... More

We stayed at the Lord Manaus for one evening with our children during the World Cup. The staff tried to communicate by translating on the computer which was helpful. They were kind and eagerly wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is definitely dated, but relatively clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of different foods. The area is quite... More

We stayed here on 2 occasions each for 5 nights as part of a holiday booked by Imagine Latin America. The hotel is located in downtown and is a short walk from the Opera house, market and floating dock. The area is a hive of activity during the day with lots of shops and market stalls nearby. We stayed during... More

The hotel is located in the middle of a busy market selling illegal, counterfeit goods. At night when the market closes people sleep in the streets. Not safe at all. Inside the place seems to have been decorated decades ago. The aircon is terrible and very noisy. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Do not stay here.

This hotel was grossly overpriced. Its basic , claustrophobic and the best thing about it is When you leave. The aircon hardly worked and the room was always hot and stuffy. The room was not overly clean , the sheets had holes .I wouldnt recommend this hotel even to an enemy. The hotel is more alike a Bangkok hotel which caters for one... More

Good: Location - walking distance to the Teatro Amazonia and a bustling market Staff - though extremely busy, made time to answer our questions and resolve an issue we had with booking Average/Bad: Surroundings - this May be a comment on the level of poverty that exists, but the hotel is situated in a "back alley". We flew in late... More

Good location in Centro district. Pros - very friendly and pleasant service, breakfast included, good air conditioning in our room. Cons - lighting in our room could have been a bit more relaxed... no lamp shades! Other - good value for money, could be considered a bit noisy at times, but overall a very good stay.

Everything was great. Room was nice looking, clean and cool. Shower was perfect. Television great. Lobby was beautiful, front desk very helpful, owner gave me a great rate. Was able to use the lobby computer whenever I needed it. It is right in the middle of a busy area, but the sound did not go into the building since it... More
