It's a pretty old hotel but has many facilities like pool, pool bar, restaurants...etc. Ponta Negra is walking distance! Breakfast is not bad, staffs are friendly. Room is spacious (I booked standard room) with a small tv, the only minor complain I have is the bathroom seems to need some maintenance. Other than this, experience in tropical Manaus is good.

We stayed at the hotel next door, but had to meet at this hotel for a short boat cruise. We had time to have lunch here beforehand,, and were surprised that it was actually quite good, with a nice looking bar menu also, good selection of drinks. We thought we would come back on the second night we had to stay...

I stayed one night in this terrible hotel. I checked in at midnight and got my room. I opened the door snd got terrified. It was still urin andcother personal waste in the toilet from the previous guest. Wet towels from the previous guest was also found on the floor together with used condom. Bed was in a mess. I...

In itself it's an incredible place. Colonial style, with precious dark wood floors, a zoo (!) and a nice lobby. But you should be attentive f the room they give you. Some a very charming and nice, some are modern and disappointing for a 5 stars hotel and can be very remote from the lobby, (the hotel is huge). The...

This was at one time probably the best hotel in Manaus - in about 1900. Not much has been done to it since. Room was old, peeling paint, warped wood. It is long past it's prime. And they charge for Internet. It is a 1 Star hotel at a 4 Star price. Almost anywhere else would've better.

We stayed here when the refurbishment was discreetly in progress - definitely no disruption to worry about. Our large room was newly decorated with light colours and a very spartan style (very spartan: we had to ask for a bedside lamp). It was clean and crisp, though rather like a business hotel in anywheresville. The old wooden furnishing had been...

Tropical Manaus is a very old resort. Offers a large number of rooms and servicea. Food is nice, but expensive. The service is very bad. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable, but some are old fashion, with old equipaments. Don't expect luxury around here ! But may be the best option in the city...

I loved the zoo and the pool, the room was okay. But the tech hasn't been updated since the disco ages. They charge for wifi per device you use. The food stinks.

This hotel is ordinary at best. Nice check-in area, but staff seemed to have better things to do than attend to people checking in. The room was very run down, few things worked properly. The phone kept ring, there was no card to tell you what numbers to call, even for room service. The remote for the very old TV...
