It was a place to sleep and to shower, and it was good. I stay at places that include breakfast for a reason, but when there is nobody nor food set out on a table, I am not too happy. I waited for about two hours each day, but got nothing, so I then had to go out and spend...

Me and some friends visited this bar (but did not stay at the hostel) with a local girl we bumped into in Manaus- we would never have found it otherwise! This is on a road just off of the main square in Manaus which has the opera house. It's such a cool little place- it has a music and film...

This is a clean little hostel in the centre of town. It's close to the theatre and nearly everything you need within walking distance. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hostel overall is not too large and the common area is a pretty good spot to meet people. The WIFI is in good working order as well. It doesn't...

We stayed in the hostel during the world cup and had a single room in the basement (right next to the pool). Positives: The location was amazing (right next to the theatre), you can buy water and beer at the reception (and caipirinha:)), every room has air-conditioning. The staff is very friendly even though some of them had difficulties speaking...

Booked this hostel as part of a jungle tour with Iguana Tours. You get a free night as well as pickup from the airport. They were very accommodating as I would arrive after midnight and appeased my request for a private room. They stored my big bag during my jungle lodge stay. My flight to Rio was also late so...

The hostel has a great location, two steps from the Teatro Amazonas and the Largo de São Sebastião, one of the nicest neighbordhoods in Manaus. Good value as well. The staff was very helpful towards all my questions, needs or problems. They are also very careful with your personal belongings, as soon as you forget a phone, wallet or sunglasses...

I booked weeks ahead. They were to pick me up from airport. I confirmed the night before by email. They confirmed. But they did not show up. I bought a phone card and got someone to call. Several attempts but not one in the office. Informed me by email 3 and a half hours to say they made a mistake.

GOL Backpackers made my visit to Manaus and the Amazon one of the BEST places we visited on our travels around Brazil. The staff were so helpful and fun, the rooms are clean, the location is perfect, and they have hot showers too! (it was just what you need when backpacking!) A sociable hostel, on the doorstep of the famous...

good , there seems to be a party crowd there and the vibe is good if you want extra aircon in the room - which you probably want, ask at the reception. They'll charge you a couple dollars, well worth for having the aircon on for a longer time.

Hi, we were received in an excellent manner by the hostel owner Ralph and the manager José + the rest of the staff. They are very openminded and we even went out together for some beers. The rooms are small, but well-cared. The hotel is located right behind the theatre and the price-performance ratio is well balanced. Their collaboration with...
