Lowlights: first, this hotel does not deserve to be a 4 stars hotel. I would rate as 3 stars but with a struggle. Be aware that you cannot book rooms for your family members (using your own credit card) so if someone arrives first he/ she will need a credit card for himself/ herself. If you use Booking there is no information available about it, which can be painful on arrival when dealing with payments. Service is very slow, staff do not know the menu and forget about ordering wine or even fish!! Wine will be hot and fish with a weird sea taste. The hotel needs remodeling as it is quite old. You can hear a lot of noises early in the morning due to acoustic issues (and we were not lucky during our stay: a lot of impolite people screaming early in the morning). It definitely does not worth the money they charge so I would look for other options in the city, which I was told lacks of alternatives. We had lunch at the Jardim Atlântico Resort and we had very good impressions - and surprise it is also a 4 stars. Highlights: breakfast, if you are lucky enough to be on Tapioca's day. And to be fair they have friendly staff working over there. …
I have stayed here 5 years in a row. Always good and no problems. WiFi much improved over the past years. Beach just across the road. Not far from airport. Personnel friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included.
It is a very nice hotel, they clean the rooms every day probably and there's no problems at all. Very service minded. The food is not that good unfortunately. But is is definitely the best hotel for the price!
Rooms are huge and clean, but have just a few plugs for charging eletronics. Breakfast is Ok. Swimming pool is great, but unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy it. Its a little far from the rest of the city.
The reception staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel offer some amenities such pool, pool bar and a buffet restaurant. Just across the street you can find the beach. The really down side are the bedrooms were it had a discussing and dirty look, such small holes on the floor and walls. I strongly recommend to them to make some renovations on the old dirty looking rooms.
