Best hostel ever! Friendly staff make you feel welcome immediately. Offer breakfast even if you arrive early in the morning and haven't checked in yet. Social hostel probably because of caipirinha hour where everyone comes together to enjoy free caipirinhas. I am not a dog person but their dog will completely win you over...such a cutie! I had such an...

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff and owner were all very accommodating and helped everybody with onward travel plans. The hostel is in a good location and the rooms are spacious with a small locker for each bed. The WiFi works pretty good and the breakfast was very impressive. They have eggs sausage, fruit, good coffee, bread,...

Visited for 3 nights and wished we stayed longer! Was one of the best hostels we have stayed at for many reasons. 1. Breakfast was extensive and until midday (the mango juice was delicious!) 2. The hosts were very friendly, informative and helpful. (Very good English spoken which is rare in Salvador!) 3. Free caprinhinas for an hour every day!!!...

Stayed there for just one night at a private room. Great overall experience: cool, atmospheric place, super friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms and good breakfast for a really good price. And the best doggies.

Galeria 13 is a cool Hostel right in the middle of Pelourinho. Free caipirinha Happy Hour from 5-6pm was a great way to start our stay. There's a small pool to hang in if you want to cool off and pretty complete breakfast is included every day. Galeria 13 is a solid spot to meet other travelers and really has...

Unfortunately, I stayed here only for one night. A couple I met on my travels recommended this hostel to me and I am happy I got this recommendation. The staff was helpful and nice as they really tried to get in touch with everybody and to make everybody's stay a good one. Accomodations are great with working plugs at every...

I had a really disappointing stay at this hostel which I had booked off the back of reading all the great reviews online. It was so bad I actually left a night early which they still made me pay for. Firstly I arrived and was told the dorm was closed so I was being moved to a private room for...

It was very helpful to recieve an email from this guest with her comments it gave us a chance to try and explain some of her misunderstandings of the situations. No sure whether it helped but at least we tried and now i can do the same here. The guest arrived on her own as her boyfriend was staying in...

This is a good hostel. Clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient staff. Newly installed solar panels for hot water are great. A plunge pool, a good breakfast and free drinks between 5.15 and 6.15pm. Well located in the historic centre. Make sure you have uber for ordering your taxi, it will save you a fortune. They won't pick you up from...

I stayed a few nights at this hotel, it is very nicely located and with a very friendly and helpful staff. We got lost on our way there and were wandering around in a non recommended area of Salvador, especially on a sunday, and completly randomly, we were rescued by the hostel boss who happened to have spot us there...
