No soap on the bathrooms, the cleaning makes the room smell worst, terrible breakfast. Went there thinking i could not have many suprises, since this chain of hotels is usually pretty decent and almost always the same. But when we got there we were very unpleasently surprised. Only the location makes it worth the money we payed.

This hotel is at walking distance to good restaurants like Casa de Tereza, and other interesting nightlife and bars nearby. Another good thing is that you can get a view of the sea, but remember to check for this type of room at check in Even though it is quite close to the sea, it doesn't get the sticky floor... More

You know what to expect from Ibis - a more budget hotel chain yet safe, clean and with all the amenities you need. Quiet zone, almost in front of the sea (not a beach you can swim). Central, close to other hotels (Mercure, Pestana, Golden Tulip) and close to the heart of Rio Vermelho, a bohemian region in Salvador. No... More

It's a very good hotel with great public transport connections both to the city centre and the airport. The room itself is cosy, though it would require some refurbishment. It feels it hasn't been refurbished for a long time. The windows would definitely require some cleaning, especially those close to the entrance to the hotel. Besides that, everything was perfect.... The hotel itself is not that bad at all. A litte old, but nothing terrible. The point is: if you need to stay around this area, pay (maybe) a little more and stay at Mercure, right beside. They even share the same parking lot. You will have a MUCH BETTER experience and the spectaculat view of the beach. If the... More

The hotel is an example of modern hotels with fast wifi connection. I stayed there for two nights, although the staff don't speak much English, they are very helpful and friendly. Overall I like the hotel and I would recommend it for everyone who is in transit in Salvador.
