At the time I booked the hotel accommodations I wasn't sure as to which of three hotel located in the Barra area of Salvador to select. I'm so please that I chose the Monte Pascoal Praia, see my wife is Jamaican and loves to live on the beach. The hotel is located just across the street from a beautiful stretch...

The hotel is a 3 star hotel which is fine and staff is friendly, but the management is the worst. I would not recommended it for any international tourist. I booked a stay on Booking.com and I had a family emergency. I need to get back home and no one was willing to help me. I was willing to pay...

This is a reasonable 3-star hotel in a very central location in Barra. The location makes it very noisy in all rooms (we changed twice, with lots of late night noise from the beach) so do not stay here if you sleep badly. The rooms are definitely not luxurious - they are like a basic budget hotel, but pleasant and...

Let's start with the good bits. First, the staff are really friendly and do try their best to accommodate your needs (although see below re english limitations). The breakfast is also great, really good selection and they serve really good and inexpensive meals and cocktails, throughout the day caiprinhas for 7.50Reis which is approx 3 pounds! Rooms are a good...

The hotel is in a good location, right on the beach in Barra. Sadly the area itself isn't much to write home about - the beach looked seriously eroded and what was left of it had patches of oil and litter all over it. We spent a lot on Ubers to other parts of town. Rooms are a good size...

Our family stayed at the hotel that is superbly located on the beach within walking distance of the lighthouse, Barra Shopping centre, beaches and various restaurants. The staff has limited english but were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good and hotel has a swimming pool which is great after a day in the hot salvador sun.

This family run hotel has one of the best locations along the Barra Boulevard. The Barra lighthouse is within walking distance from the hotel. We took a public bus to the historic center for 3 Reais per person, Pelourinho is about 20 minutes with traffic from Barra. Everything in Brazil is big and noisy, best is to get a room...

Location is great just located in front of beach. It is also within a walking distance from Christ and Barra Base. There are various nice-looking restaurants nearby. Service is acceptable even there are only limited people who can speak English. Breakfast is more than we expected.

Having stayed in 3 hotels in Barra over the years, this is by far the best one. Looks like it´s a had a recent make over with the pool area especially good with an almost infinity pool overlooking the beach and ocean and comfy sofas to lounge about. The room sizes are good , have nice balconies and sea views even...
