I can understand how they have received 4 stars when this was opened in 1998, I can not understand however how were they able to keep those stars while the hotel looks old, rooms are outdated and dirty. This review is based on room 905 Bathroom plumbing doesn't work well. Staff was friendly but inefficient. Towels and bedding is visible...

I booked it with a good discount but the full price it too expensive for what it offers. The room is small, there are almost no outlets, the reservation confirmation didn't make it clear that the parking garage would be charged apart and though the conformation stated that there wouldn't be any other taxes, I spent several minutes at the...

The hotel is very well located. You are close to museums, bars, restaurants and the historical center, Remember that Belo Horizont is well known for its cultural lice and lively night at the bars with petiscos mineiros (typical tapas) The breakfast is adequate, the rooms are clean and wifi very rapid.

I have no other words but disgusting. The hotel is old and unappealing. The room felt outdated and dirty. I didn't feel comfortable getting into the bed nor using the shower. The breakfast was pretty unappetizing as well. We had to switch rooms because the room we received was facing the front and it was so loud that it felt...

Readers please take note - this is the worst review I have ever written. We stayed at this hotel during the FIFA World Cup. It was a busy time so one could forgive many things like - the hotel check-in us into a room that was already occupied, lack of hot water (for 2 days), hotel safety boxes that don't...

A bit average four star hotel, if compared to some others in center area of BH especially, if compared to some Savassi **** premises. The breakfast was modest, gymnasium a bit too modest, in fact very POOR like pool was non-existant and some reseption staff lacked skill level of politeness and overall professionalism. The rooms were nice, spacious of course...

We stayed at the Hotel Sol for two nights, each night separated by four nights on a trip to Tiradentes and Ouro Preto. On each occasion the staff we exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The rooms were well sized with all the usual hotel amenities. The first night it was great, quiet and cool and we slept well. (Pillows are rather...

Stayed only one night on a business trip. The check-in and check-out were very quick. The elevator is very fast (few seconds from 10th floor on several runs). The hotel is located in downtown but there is no noise on the 10th floor.

If you are driving by car to this hotel be aware that the underground parking lot is tiny and is full very often. Besides this, they charge you in 25 reais which is an absurd but due the lack of places to park, you are obliged to accept. The rooms are spacious but need to be renovated because they are...

Very old, downtown, it does not look like a Best Western real. High price and not a 4 stars like it promises to be. We had to pay at check for all days even they had our card number. We will not recommend it as it is not cheap at all. Elevator out of order and carpet smells bad. Bad...
