Comfortable, clean and located right in town, midway between the high town and the low town. Wifi worked well. Did not have air-con, though most budget places we looked at did not. However, they provide a table-top fan that worked well and was better than many overhead fans we've had. Main con was the room and bathroom were on the...

We loved our stay in this pousada. My mother and I stayed for two nights and were warmly welcomed and given a map and information about sight seeing on our arrival. Our room was small but cosy with two single beds with duvets and extra blankets (the weather was quite cold at night while we were in Ouro Preto). Lots...

We had a great stay at this Pousada in January 2014. The rooms are comfortable and the location is really great - a quick walk to any of the sights and good restaurants. The breakfast room is definitely the hightlight of the place with beautiful views of the town. The people at the pousada were also very nice and helped...

A small very friendly Pousada in a great location. Close to the action with lots of little bars and restaurants just around the corner. We immediately felt at home and were offered great coffee and orange cake on arrival. The room was very quiet small but comfortable. We had a great breakfast.

We stayed in this Pousada for two nights. It is quite well positioned in the town. The managers spoke no English but were nevertheless able to communicate some useful tourist information on check-in, which was welcome. Our room was down a very narrow set of stairs, (most accommodation in Ouro Preto involves stairs) to a dimly lit, cramped room with...

First of all, the hosts are really nice and although they don't speak English, they really determined to help u with everything. The place itself is also really good. The hotel is 1 minute walk from the main square and close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is awesome and the view from the dinning room is incredible. I...

this hotel is confortable and is close to everything, but there's too much noise. in funds from the hotel there is a pub with loud music. I was also bothered by the loud owner of the hotel and other guests. they spoke very loud, no respect!

By definition, pousada's are simple accommodations in good locations and this one doesn't disappoint. We were able to park the car and walk to all the attractions. The owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included freshly-baked breads in a quaint setting.
