It was the first time I went to the resort, it exceeded my expectations, I had terrible weather with rain and cold, but even so there was no shortage of options for fun, the indoor pools are very good, the entire hotel is very clean, the food is very diverse and although they are not very sophisticated, they are excellent and delicious, be prepared to eat a lot, the whole complex is very large, has several leisure options for the family, it is well worth it, rooms are large, large bathrooms with strong showers, there are kitchenettes to wash the bottle and some fruit and milk for consumption, there is coffee and flavored water all day...as I went with the family and it was cold, I ended up not even drinking anything alcoholic and with that my bill at check out was 9 reais (3 reais tourism tax per adult which is optional) and 3 reais for a water.
An excellent resort for families, I don't know if it would be good for a couple with a "honeymoon" vibe, as the focus is on family and therefore it's rare for you to see anyone without children, at dinner you have to hear about 10 congratulations in a row, like I have children, for me it's normal, but for a couple I think it would break the romantic atmosphere a little.
I'm already looking at new dates to return, I loved the place!
It's worth paying attention to the number of people the hotel employs, it has no shortage of employees to make guests feel good, lots of people in cleaning, cooking, recreation, etc., and everyone is always helpful and with a smile on their face.
Congratulations to the entire hotel team.

I discovered the hotel on Instagram, some people posted that they were there and so I looked, found an offer and made the reservation. During the reservation everything was ok, Camila helped me, answered all my questions, etc. Arriving at the hotel, we checked in at reception, where I thought there were some explanations missing, such as saying that for the room to be clean and tidy, the sign needed to be placed on the door. To this day, all the hotels I've been to have never had to ask them to clean, just ask them not to clean. Conclusion, on the first day no one came to our room to fix anything, so I called reception and they explained to me how it worked. And the funniest thing is on the first day we didn't leave the sign on the door and no one came by, on the last day we didn't leave it either and then we left open suitcases and everything there, when we came back they had gone to pack everything. So I can't understand, we didn't ask to tidy up and in fact it was our last day, wouldn't it be ideal to tidy up after we left? Change everything and clean for the next guests? We found it very strange.
The restaurant is excellent, lots of variety, has options for everyone and all tastes. The only point to mention about it is that when they are removing the buffet they use a cart to place the food and take it to the kitchen, the food is all open on this cart, including on the floor below which goes very close to the floor and at the foot of Whoever is carrying the stroller, I found it very unhygienic.
The pool area is very good, all heated, etc., sometimes depending on the heat, they get too hot, but that depends on each person. What we don't like in this area is the girl who delivers the towels, she barely looks you in the face, rude and unfriendly and she says it's only one towel per day, per guest. However, we went to lunch and left the towel on the chairs and a cap, when we came back they were no longer there. If we left it, it's because we were going back, and if you can only get one per day, it doesn't make any sense to go there at 2pm in the afternoon. The pool closes at 6pm so the guest is left without a towel? There's no logic.
Another point is recreation for adults, it needs to improve too, most entertainers only look at your face during the activity, afterward at the hotel there are few people who greet you. The activities for adults also need to improve, lots of bingo, volleyball at 11am is a blast as the afternoon casts shadows on the court, which in fact needs lighting. The hotel has 5 beach tennis courts and a volleyball court, but you can only use them until 6pm because after dark you can't see anything there.
The hotel is good, but for us it needs better in these areas!!!

Days in paradise, this is how I summarize my magnificent experience at Monreale Resort Poços de Caldas. I traveled with my 12-year-old daughter and she told me that she had never liked a place so much, not even Disney Paris had enchanted her so much. The team is fantastic, from the reception made by 2 beautiful Boxer dogs, extremely docile, to the cleaning team, with a deserved highlight to Thati who even became friends with my daughter and my brother, in the kitchen the Chef was very I requested, he even made clarified butter especially for my little one and brought it in a fully decorated vessel, not to mention the kitchen, which my girl and I went to visit since we studied gastronomy, very clean, very organized, with external quality control, a show , like a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars, the food was... divine.
Of course I have some specific criticisms, not all the waiters were friendly to us, unlike Maître William who is kindness in human form. Our suite had the light in the hallway burned out, I requested a replacement and it was not carried out and the sink plumbing was repaired, but they were not careful to remove our things from the bathroom and some went in the trash, but nothing of value.
The prices at the bar are very high and as it is an all-inclusive I believe that this can be reviewed by the administration, a more modest price would increase consumption and the offer of some complimentary drinks and unlimited soft drinks would definitely be a good attraction.
The activities are fantastic, the shows incredible. All pools are heated. The Recreation Guys are lovely.
Other than that, the Hotel leaves nothing to be desired for any 5-star European hotel.
I recommend it, especially for those who have children.

My experience at the Monreale Hotel Resort was very pleasant! I left there thinking about when I will return! With a rustic and cozy architecture, the resort offers several spaces for its guests, such as rooms (suites), gym, extreme sports, camping area, areas for children (we'll talk about them in a moment), restaurant, water park, among others. many others. The hotel is also concerned with offering recreation programs, which are made available daily on the Hotel's website and on signs throughout it. The programs are divided into age groups, with activities appropriate to the respective ages. All programs are monitored by monitors, the "uncles"; Monreale has more than 7 "uncles" and "aunts", each with a very cute and playful name, such as Lola, Unicorn, Olaf, Paçoquinha, etc. The games take advantage of many spaces at the Hotel, such as the Galerinha Social Club rooms and the Indoor Playground, the courts and sometimes even the resort corridors. There will definitely be no boredom there!
Moving on to another part of the fun provided by Monreale, I'm going to talk about the water park. Equipped with 5 outdoor pools, including one for the slide, you can have a lot of fun. Two of these pools are for children, with their depth reduced to a maximum of 60cm, and the others go up to 1.40m deep. It also has two indoor swimming pools; one of them is childish. All pools, both indoor and outdoor, are heated, making having fun in the water more enjoyable.
Now comes another part that is of interest to everyone: food. Meals are served during the day, four in total, in a self-service model, but you can choose to buy snacks between meals. The food served is very well prepared and very plentiful. Desserts have a diet area, and the meals themselves have a vegan area, allowing everyone to have experiences with the Hotel's cuisine.
One last thing that I think is very important to mention is the security of the apartments. Located on the ground, first, second and third floors, the apartments present a security problem (especially on the second and third floor). Its windows have no protection at all, which is worrying when guests have small children or even adults, who in a moment of distraction can tip over the eaves and even fall from there. This problem is somewhat worrying, and it took my family by surprise when we arrived. We had to lock the windows as we had a small child with us.
Overall, my experience at the Monreale Hotel Resort was excellent. I was very well received and attended to, which already makes the experience very pleasant, and putting this together with all the others, I can say that it was very pleasant to go to Monreale! I intend to visit them again!

I would like to congratulate the hotel! My family and I have been going to the hotel since 2016 and every time we go, the hotel generally gets better! This time, I believe it surpassed it, not only because of the new pool area, but the service in general is much better and what caught our attention the most was the cleanliness and the quality and variety of the food. We noticed a genuine concern about delighting guests.

However, I have some points of suggestion for improvements:
- Continue investing in improving the infrastructure of the rooms, such as changing air conditioning units to inverter to reduce noise from the machines
- Replace the entire carpet with flooring, as has already been done in most of the facilities.
- Invest in a games room with a better and larger infrastructure, for example in a more airy and modern location, add more ping pong and billiard tables and other attractions that children and teenagers like.

Overall the hotel is a 1000, we are already thinking about our next stay :)

Large room and excellent cleanliness.
Staff are very attentive and polite.
Very good food, with variety and the restaurant is very organized and clean. Even at times of the greatest flow of people, employees were constantly cleaning the buffet area and replacing the food quickly without waiting for it to finish. This for me is a very positive point because it doesn't create a queue with people waiting for the food that has run out.
Spectacular breakfast. With separate waffle, pancake and tapioca islands and a wide variety of fillings and toppings.
Excellent pool area, new, clean chairs, and the most incredible thing, all the pools have hot water. Wonderful. Hotel means you never want to leave.

Reservations made directly via their phone. Friendly and informative service provided by Luis Fernando.
Check in was slow and unenthusiastic, even though we went in low season, during the week and outside of holidays.
After the concierge, their service is another level.
Friendliness, respect and smiles from the staff made all the difference in our stay. They demonstrate pleasure in helping and serving.
The resort is spacious, well signposted and very clean.
We stayed as a couple and had two children in the great-sized apartment. Soft beds, hot and abundant shower, well lit and airy.
Point of attention: there should be safety screens on windows and balconies on high floors, as this becomes a major concern for parents of young children.
Access to the resort, spectacular landscaping, views and living areas.
Heated swimming pools throughout the hotel, very well monitored by maintenance and lifeguards.
The restaurant is a show in itself, both for its abundance and variety of food.
The service there is top notch, the care they have for a good customer experience both at the table (by immediately removing used dishes) and at the buffet, by keeping everything immaculately clean, well served and with good presentation. They deserve a ten!
The hotel's recreation staff (Galera Monreale) show their willingness and friendliness, they are tireless with the kids! And not only that, at certain times of the day, they involve adults in scavenger hunts and very fun games.
The checkout went smoothly, smoothly and without surprises.
My first impressions of the hotel were very good, the place is frequented by families, elderly people and is completely adapted for people with special needs.
They strive to make the customer experience fun, enjoyable and leaving you wanting more!

Very bad laundry service. They do not lend irons and do not provide irons in the rooms. We paid to have some items ironed and the clothes arrived very wrinkled.
Beauty salon services can only be paid via pix or cash, they are separate accounts from the hotel, just like the SPA.
Otherwise, everything is really good! Food, attractions, cleaning and tidying of rooms, staff service, green areas (beautiful), everything! We intend to return!
These two criticisms serve to improve... which they can certainly do.
Last tip: make baby strollers available to borrow and/or rent during your stay.

Lolo turned 6 and wanted to come to Monreale again, we already knew the hotel, we already knew that it is always a wonderful and unique experience to be at the hotel.

Praising and thanking is also extremely important, it does enormous good for our days.

Mr Antônio from the wines, Henrique, Ryan and Roberta from the bar, Juliano and Maicon from the pool bar, Mr Roberto from the luggage, Mr Wilhiam, chef Leandro and Marley, Thaislon, the Joãos, extremely helpful, polite, friendly employees.

Once again, at two dinners, there was no food option for my son (autistic, extremely selective), I asked the boys and was promptly served.

But those who win our hearts without any effort are the entertainers: Uncle Olaf, Uncle Xepa, Uncle Mustache, Aunt Pocahontas, Uncle Jelly, Uncle Rapadura, Aunt Lili, Uncle Alemão, Uncle Woody (this one is new, but it didn't take long to gain our trust and heart), Tio Limão, Tia Coelho, (it makes you want to put them in a little jar and take them home).
And this time Lolo also stayed with Aunt Kiwi (too cute), Aunt Docinho (really sweet), Aunt Seal (welcoming, cute, charismatic), Aunt Sol (radiant as a star) and Aunt Lilac, also cute.

Saves lives Uncle Luciano is always very attentive to children and also extremely polite and friendly.

The food is wonderful, natural juices, for those who like rare meat and just ask for it to be served quickly, very qualified staff, always ready to help, I don't know everyone's name in the restaurant, but I can say with great conviction that they are everyone was extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

Maids Tatiana and Maria were cute, also very helpful.

For those who like to taste their wine, just bring it and there is no corkage fee, this is also perfect! And we have the option of getting cold cuts at the restaurant to enjoy the live show that takes place in the Minas bar.

We had the Italian dinner weekend, simply PERFECT! (Marley and team simply rocked it)Everything was wonderful. The food, the table set, the cheeses, the band Tenores do Brasil also needs no comments, wonderful!

Being at Monreale is always a perfect and unique experience, and yes, we will definitely be back many more times.

NOTE: Some monitors (who my son had contact with for the first time) need to have some training regarding autistic children, in terms of knowing how to welcome when the child is feeling a little out of place, when they don't want to participate in an activity, knowing how to welcome is essential. It is extremely important, and everyone needs to know how to do it diligently.

Hotel that brings the feeling of rest. Very well cared for, organized, clean, smelly and with a beautiful museum of bicycles and works of Bruno Filisberti.
Staff very attentive, polite and concerned about the well-being of guests. I highlight Mr Amarildo who always came to ask about the temperature of the pools, Mr Uarlei and Mrs Patrícia who gave us a hyper attentive treatment at lunch today, 25/07. It was really differentiated.
Even the hotel food is excellent! Organized islands, with constant refuelling and impeccable quality! The coconut cake, the brows, the milk candy, the cookies and the regional cuisine all made there will miss you. All other menus of each day tb were excellent.
The pools are indeed warm, nice and combining with the view of the mountains bring peace.
The bike track is another delight, well ⁇ ined, full of bikes of all kinds with good maintenance and at the guest's disposal. Along it there are benches and sun loungers that invite you to a good rest with beautiful landscapes.
The outdoor park is another well ⁇ ined place with lots of toys and a very large tank of sand that children love.
The Galera Monreale tb deserves highlight, all very excited and attentive.
The attractions were great. We saw the show of Yakko Sideratos, theatre of the Lion King and the duo that played at the julina party was very good! Sertanejo root.
There was a program called Color Party that I fell in love with. The most beautiful thing is that explosion of colors.
Accommodations are ok, meet the proposal. Our room had a door to another conjugate room, which was busy, and so we heard more noise when waking up and sleeping, because obviously the hours of each family are different.
Finally I mention the kindness of Aline from the Kiosk Mãos de Cera. It was of a unique delicacy in making my daughter's hand.
