Based on taxi drivers information, it used to be owned by Hilton group hotels. My expectation for the hotel was higher, based on the price. The hotel looked a bit old. However, bedroom was spacious. The hotel needs some maintenance. Staff was gently. About breakfast... a variety of fruits, breads, ham & cheese, juices and sweet cakes. During breakfast, you can get your eggs in you desire... also a traditional "tapioca" personalized.

The hotel used to be owned by the Hilton group. It is a very nice hotel with spacious bedrooms. There is a nice well proportioned outdoor pool with sunbeds etc. The quality of the food in the restaurant, both for breakfast and evening meal is superb. I had the seafood risotto which contained prawns, squid, octopus, mussels and chicken which I can quite honestly say was the best I have ever eaten. Good range of beers and wine are available at reasonable prices. Excellent waiters and waitresses are very attentive. My thanks to Roberto on reception for taking the time to check in for my flights. Recommended!

I stayed one night in this former Hilton hotel, the hotel was very old fashioned but well equipped, mayor thing I did not like was the very early closure of the Bar, had to divert to the mini bar and that is no fun. Breakfast was abundant with freshly cooked fried eggs or omelets and pancakes.

The hotel is not competitive with similarly priced properties in the city. No room safe, no coffee maker, no bathrobe. The room was not ready when I arrived at 11 pm - no hangers in the closet, no blankets on the bed. The staff had extreme trouble communicating in English. Kitchen had trouble keeping up with a breakfast buffet overrun with convention guests and tour groups. Trying to find the positives: Very clean, nice park with an outdoor cafe across the street. But overall terrible value for money.

This hotel is big with about 375 rooms. We came during “Círio de Nazaré”, the biggest religion party in the region or even in the country. Therefore, all hotels are more expensive. As an upside, the kindness of staff is great and hotel is well located On the downside, its structure and decoration are very much old fashion style.
