The staff is attentive and kind. A good place to stay for a very good price. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is simple, but it met my expectations. Above all, this place is very nice and close to the bus terminal and main street, with easy access to the, Airport, Iguazu Falls, Paraguay and Argentina, using buses. I recommend the place!

We spent four days at this pousada. I must say, when I first arrived I wasn't very impressed. The rooms didn't even had bedside tables and they were very basic. We soon discovered the wifi, and the breakfast was decent. The kitchen leaves something to be desired in terms of cutlery and dishes. The location is great, right near the bus station, a big grocery store, and just a few blocks from the Main Street.

It wasn't until I got ill and needed to see a doctor that I was impressed by the staff. One lovely member, Caro, actually walked me to the medical center, saw the doctor with me, and took me to the pharmacy to be sure I had the correct medication. She went above and beyond what she needed to do and without her I might still be quite sick. Sometimes it's the people, not the places that make your stay great.

This was the best place I stayed on my trip to Brazil. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and answered all of my questions for what to do, where to eat, etc. Breakfast was good, the room was clean, there were lots of fun people around to meet, I really liked it.

We stayed at Hostel Bambu in Foz Iguazu for only one night and it was an excellent experience. The staff were extremely helpful and the facility's were great. After a busy day visiting Itapu Dam and the Brazilian side of Iguazu falls we went swiming in the hostels great rooftop pool, then they helped us order in food as we were to tired to go out. They found a travel adaptor that worked for us and the double room we stayed in was huge and very clean and breakfast was one of the best I have had in South American hostels. I highly recommend staying here!

Our four-bed room had good beds, airconditioning and a good shower. Breakfast was great with a selection of fruits and everyday a different kind of cake. The hostel itself is located in an area that's really quiet and therefore really nice to relax. On top of the roof is a nice swimming pool which is perfect to cool down after a hot day sightseeing.

The pousada is located just a couple of blocks from the bus-terminal and only one block from a big supermarket with a good and cheap restaurant (per kilo) inside.

The staff is really welcoming and eager to help.

Budget accommodation 5 minutes walk from the local bus station for the waterfalls. 10 minute taxi ride from the longer distance bus station. Stayed for one night after crossing from Argentina, and overall acceptable but no more.

-Accommodation was set up in 3 or 4 "blocks", with plenty of rooms. Our room was acceptable though a little basic, but did have an ensuite bathroom.
-Major drawback was the air-conditioning was very weak, hardly chilled the room at all.
-Breakfast was pretty good however with a selection of cakes, bread with ham & cheese, fruit, tea and coffee etc.
-From what we could tell there was no cooking facilities for guests. We ate out at a local buffet where you pay by the kilo.
-There was also a rooftop pool, though we didn't have the time for a dip unfortunately.
-Staff knowledge of English was mixed, though generally there was one guy around who spoke pretty fluently. They were friendly enough and let us hang around while we waited for our bus to Florianopolis. They also arranged a taxi to the bus station. Hostel also took card payment, which was a pleasant surprise after weeks of paying by cash in Argentina!
-WiFi was acceptable, we were able to book tickets and hostel from our room.

Overall a solid one night stay, but no more than that really.

A group of 5 of us stayed here for 3 nights after a mix up in our booking online - we found the rooms to be clean, and found the mini-fridge in the room to be useful. The breakfast was average, but was still much nicer than many of the hostels that we'd stayed in.

Unfortunately, on our first night, we were mugged just metres away from the guesthouse as we were walking back - we were told that this is a very rare occurrence, but we'd still like to warn people and would advise taking taxis back at night. When this happened though, the staff was very helpful and took us to the police and helped us make the necessary phone calls, which we're very grateful for!

Clean and correct place. The rooms are in rows, like an american motel, so not charming but convenient. It is a clean and relatively quiet place (groups sometimes make noise). The good buffet breakfast is serve in a huge room. You will need to walk 10 minutesto get in the center of the city. A supermarket with a good and cheap buffet is just beside the motel.

"the posada offers a trip to the argentinian side for 85 Reals including the entrance. we thought it was expensive and didnt take it and in the end we spent much more money and a lot more time to go there by buses because on the argentinian side the bus that take you to the waterfalls is very expensive, so i suggest to take the deal (probably in every posada they offer the same)"
