We stayed here only for one night because it was carnival and the hotel we booked in town could only accommodate us for 3 nights. How we wish we could have stayed here Instead. The only downside is the hotel is not near a swimming beach, it is a surfer beach as there are strong rip currents and swimming is prohibited. The hotel and resturant are great. It it a wonderful place to relax, with hammocks and 2 small pools. A taxi to town, and a swimming beach is about $7 us. There is a bus but we had no time to explore it.

Very nice hotel, friendly people. Looks and feels very cosy. Food is good. The people that work here take good care of the wild (beautiful) animals that are wandering around (monkeys, cats, dogs).

I loved this hotel! Great location (about a minute walk to the beach), surrounded by palm trees, and plenty of hammocks to relax in. The rooms and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Neat pool area and friendly staff. The only downside for me was that this place seems to attract older guests rather than the younger "partying generation". So, if you're looking for a quiet and comfortable place this hotel is perfect!

Hard to understand that an hotel in a turistic area with no very attractive prices is offering such poor quality rooms, including the bathroom facilities. Room furnitures are old and badly preserved, the TV is old too and last but not least the closet (very small, wide open and with few and old hangers).

The rest of the hotel including the restaurant facilities, swiming pool, bar, etc are ok provided you are not a very demanding person. The best part was the breakfast (cafe da manha) which was very nice (serving different tipical good quality pastry)

I was traveling to this famous Brazilian beach town so I booked this hotel after some research on various sites, looking at photos and reading reviews. I must say, when I got to the hotel, my heart sank because everything I had seen and read did not seem to conform to the reality.
To be fair, the hotel’s gardens are beautiful—the plants, flowers and trees are beautiful; but the facilities leave much to be desired. While the hotel has 2 pools, they are both very small and the first one sits between the reception and the hotel’s restaurant, and gives you the feeling that you are bathing in a shop window. The second very tiny pool is in front of 2 rooms, which makes you feel like you are invading the space of someone’s private pool.
My room was old and appeared that it hadn’t been updated in decades. The deadbolt lock on the front door didn’t work, so anyone who had access to a key card would be able to get in, which I thought was outrageous. There was only one electrical outlet in the bathroom. There was a couch with a pull-out bed that was broken; the bed itself was rusted (I didn’t even bother to see the shape of the mattress). The shower had mold in the grout and there was a hideous stain on the sink.
The bed only had 2 pillows, so I called the front desk to ask for 2 more for my wife and me. I was told that they had given out their last extra pillow, so they provided us with two throw pillows on which they put pillowcases (which was better than nothing, but not by much).
Our room was on the second floor, accessible by a rickety spiral staircase. The area is very dark at night, so I left the porch light on. The hotel staff came by in the evening and turned off the light, and I said I wanted it on, but they said it might bother the other guests, but that I could leave it on.
The deal-breaker for me: some of you might not feel sympathetic, but my wife and I are smokers. I know you can’t smoke in the room or in the restaurant or the bar, but I thought I would smoke on my balcony or in the garden away from the other guests. I asked the receptionist, Rafael, where could we smoke…he answered, “you can smoke in the street”. Really!?!? I told them that if the hotel was completely smoke-free, they should advertise it as such, because there will be some people who’d love this idea, but not me, and then I could’ve booked somewhere else. I thought this answer was so rude that we decided not to stay the 2 nights that we had booked and to leave after one night.
The hotel manager came to speak with us and was very professional, but unfortunately, at that point it was too late to save the stay.
The room was relatively inexpensive for this area (about $40 US per night), but it is also very far from the downtown area (about 4 miles), so you’d have to be taking a taxi or Uber back and forth at a cost of R$13 each way. At this rate, any money you may have saved by staying here will be eaten up in cab fare in a very short time.
After checking out and finding another place to stay, I realized I had left my iPhone charger there, so we returned. Our “best friend” Rafael was at the reception again. When my wife entered to ask him about the cable, he ignored her, and started doing stuff on the computer. When she finally managed to get his attention and tell him that we’d left our charger in the room, he said that it was not there. My wife asked him if he could send someone up to the room to check. He told her, “no.” Really nice. I am sorry I gave him such a good tip when we first arrived.
For all these reasons, I recommend that you do not stay at this hotel.

The place has a very beautiful outdoor area. Reception staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast with plenty of variety. The negative point was the room that did not have windows. My sister was placed in a room with the family with no windows even in the bathroom and smelling musty and damp. We requested an exchange, which was provided. But we didn't think the rooms were good. As it was only one night, it worked! The beach nearby is open sea and very rough. Don't go with children!

Boa tarde! O Hotel é pé na praia, basta passar pelo portão; O bar é dentro do hotel. Quando estive lá, não tinha nenhuma estrutura deles para atendimento na praia. Mas, como o atendimento é muito bom, acho que você consegue conversando com eles. Boa viagem.
