Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We chose this hotel because it was an economical hotel, as we wanted to enjoy the tours more, but we were surprised. The service from the staff was exceptional, everyone made us feel very welcome. Very tasty breakfast, with freshly made tapioca and omelettes, we just didn't enjoy the coffee hours, as many tours started early and the coffee started late, we ended up missing a few days of coffee. The room is small, but it served us well for what we needed, the TV wasn't working, but we didn't need it, so much so that we didn't complain to reception. As for common areas, it has a swimming pool, a place to barbecue, and a kitchen. As our idea was to go for a walk, we didn't enjoy it much. I believe it is a good option for those who are going to spend their days on walks or at the beach, the cost x benefit is well worth it!

Nice outdoor area, single room ok for the price. Breakfast ok. The shared kitchen was very dirty at the time I stayed. The place is far from the central beach, but close to the center. For those taking tours, agencies pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation.

The private double room I was in was fine and I slept well, but absolutely no luxuries. Toilet was loose and room generally a little rough around the edges. Good location, quiet and walking distance to the centre. Breakfast also quite basic but sufficient to start the day. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The hostel is a nice place to stay in Porto de Galinhas. The outside area is great, breakfast is ok (they serve fresh eggs but prepare them for you. So you don't see it), rooms are basic. There are big lockers under the bed. In comparison to other places in Brazil they have good Wifi. The location is good and within five minutes you are at the beach, a bank or at the central area with all the restaurants.

This hostel is close to everything (restuarants and the beach). There is a lot of rooms, a pool, bar and lounge area. If you come with friends it is nice to hang out in the pool area. The breakfast consists out of bread, fruits and egg. Is is a great hostel and the staff is really helpfull!

I had a great time at this place. The staff always look after your needs , also they are so friendly. The rooms are nice and cleanner. They offer a good breakfast, really nice swing pool and common areas. I really recommend the hostel.

Such a great hostel! Good environment, friendly staff, wonderful structure, mattress and pillow with very very very good quality. Delicious breakfast. Really safe place.I highly recommend this hostel.

great hostel, i have been here for a week and it was really fun. the staff is very helpful at anytime and the breakfasts are very good. good people, great atmosphere, and a pool. i highly recommend this hostel.

Nice place, good staff, organized, but... full of cats. A little bit DIRTY. There were cats over the breakfast table. I have nothing against cats, but as a tourist place, they should try to avoid that. Bom lugar, funcionários atenciosos, bonito e organizado, mas um pouco SUJO. Nada contra gatos, mas sendo um lugar turístico eles deveriam se preocupar um pouco com isso.

We found this to be a decent value hostel in a convenient location a few blocks from the centre of town. Our room was clean and the bed pretty comfortable despite a pokey bathroom and no hot water.
The breakfast is pretty good and the kitchen is fine for cooking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tem um ônibus da viação cruzeiro que passa de hora em hora no aeroporto de Recife com destino a Porto de Galinhas. Pode te informar no aeroporto mesmo. Este ônibus para no centro de Porto de Galinhas. Não tem necessidade de pegar táxi até o Che Lagarto pois é perto, a não ser que esteja com muita bagagem.
De Porto de Galinhas para Recife também tem ônibus de hora em hora e passa no aeroporto de Recife e o final da linha é no cais Santa Rita perto do Recife Antigo onde tem muitas atrações.

O hostel indica um transfer do Aeroporto de Recife ate Porto de Galinhas que custa R$150. Eu preferi ir de ônibus executivo, você pega no próprio aeroporto, custa R$11,00 e tem bagageiro para armazenar as malas. Chegando no Posto Ipiranga de Porto, é uma caminhada de 10 a 15 minutos até o hostel, mas se estiver com mala, tem muito táxi disponível ali no posto. Se não quiser correr o risco de encontrar o taxi na hora que chegar, você pode combinar com o hostel para eles agendarem um táxi para te buscar no posto ipiranga. Como os horários dos ônibus que saem do aeroporto são bem certinhos, eles vão saber qual o ônibus que você pegará de acordo com o horário de chegada do seu voo.
