Amazing resort. We have visited the propriety in October still during the pandemic time and everything was perfect. Great location, great service all around, great breakfast - tks Ana and Maria who make the best tapioca of the northeastern region. Also, the rooms are large with good furniture and very very clean, as the rest of the hotel. I would come back in a minute.

I was here to visit for a week at a conference hosted here. The staff were very friendly despite the language difference, and the included food and drinks were very good. It's a great place to get away in your own bubble for a bit, and it's a short trip to Porto de Galinhas if you want to get away from the resort for a little. Definitely recommend.

We loved the atmosphere of the Maruparia. Nothing fancy or glitzy, but perfect for our family. The service was excellent and we liked being surrounded by all the other families who were very friendly to us. We're from the US; I think all the other guests were from Brazil. The beach and pool were perfect. Great value too!

Nice swimming pools, nice infrastructure and people are nice, but, some places of hotel seems not being care properly, also, there are not enough seats around pool. People needs to be more trained... there is a delay to be attended and sometimes they bring wrong order... it is expensive and due the amount payed I expected more.It is not close to the Porto de Galinhas center/natural pools. 50 minutes walking. It is close of Cupe's beach.

What other reviews do not say is that this hotel has an agreement with a major Brazilian tour operator and there are parties coming in and out all the time. Certainly, their prices charged are advantageous, but waking up at 5:30 AM with old people slamming doors because they can not miss the bus tour or groups of friends socializingin the common areas, are not what I believe ideal for those traveling with small children. The restaurant, the pool and beach in front the hotel are in the average of others places, but the service is down. Surely I do not get this hotel with my family again.

I stayed one night at the Marupiara as part of a group. It is much smaller than many of the other hotels in the area. It is right on the beach, however, with a lovely pool and nice grounds. The Marupiara offers many of the amenities as many resorts, including a game room, workout room, massages, bar, activities, restaurant, etc. However, it is a simple resort, smaller than most in this area, with plain rooms. If money is an object, and you want a clean, reasonably priced hotel with the standard Brazilian resort amenities (two meals plus activities included), this is a great place. Please just don't expect any luxury (despite the "Luxury" room title on some rooms) and you won't be disappointed! Good food, and nice staff, some of whom speak English. A little far out of town to walk.

The other reviews are correct. this is a family friendly no frills place to stay. it is located a short distance to the natural pools and easy to find. The food was pretty bad I am sorry to say. The room was clean, but most rooms do not have a view of the ocean. Ask when booking if your room has a view. I don't have anything bad to say about the place, Basic, nice staff, beautiful beach, and the price was cheaper then the other area hotels. Not bad but we will try another area hotel next time.

It a very good hotel, with good service, good food, electricity, with a lot of pools, its next to the beach, sometimes it has some live muisic playing, the restaurant is very good, very clean, the room is good too, the service is great , to finish my review this is a great hotel and its in Brasil a awsome country.

Look at the photo of this hotel. What attracts you? The beautiful pool and grounds. Be warned that this is not the view you will find at Prodigy Beach. The pool is under slow construction (We saw only 6 men setting tiles). Slow is actually the key word at Prodigy. We waited over 1/2 hour for service on the beach and finally gave up. We moved up to the grass covered lawn and waited 40 minutes for beers and snacks. The breakfast and dinner meals which were included in the packet were quite good, but avoid lunch. The wait for expensive, mediocre meals was agonizing.
No one goes to a tropical beach to be in a hurry, but excepting the friendly, helpful receptionists Adjane and Carla, and the porter Edvaldo the staff seemed not only slow, but disgruntled. This was a first for me in Porto de Galinhas, where hotel staffs are generally "alto astral" happy and lively.
Live music offered in the afternoons or evenings was nice, but be aware that weddings are held in a neighboring residence and the music clashes. Wedding music kept us awake until 1:00AM.
We enjoyed fireworks, provided by the wedding, and the full moon. Had the grounds looked like what was advertised and the service stepped up a bit, the weekend would have been delightful.

Paradise! Porto de Galinhas is an awesome village at Ipojuca-PE! Marupiara is a must.. Ive been there with my gf and everything went good.. They got us a front ocean and front pool room.. nice room..cozy...cleaned.. PERFECT! The breakfast is wonderful.. bunch of food.. cakes..fruits.. egg..sausages.. cheese break (tipical from Minas Gerais where I live).. tapioca (tipical from Pernambuco)... They didnt let the food over.. When i ate ..it seemed my mom made that delicous meal.. The location is ok.. in Porto de Galinhas u def need to rent a car to move around... They have leisure schedule.. i played beach soccer and really enjoyed..
No complain.. only good memories.. Thanks for all Marupiara! Im looking forward to be there again..!

"Housekeeping was punctual, the room was cleaned ans neat
The bathroom was fine, with permanent supply of toilet paper (which for me is an indicator or how housekeeping keeps an eye on details)
Our towels were arranged in fancy style, even with flower petals"
