My wife and I loved it. Classy room with views over the water frontage; charming staff and caring owner. More millionaire's boats per square meter than you could ever imagine! Food good and local. Lovely pool, well looked after. Definitely worth a stopover if you are driving from Sao Paulo to Rio, or vice versa and good value for money. Impossible to find so do not rely on the instructions on the web site and most important, don't think it is in Angra dos Reis - about 20 kms away! We have stayed at several boutique hotels on this trip and this one was rift up theatre and well worth the visit.

We loved our stay in Angra dos Reis Boutique Hotel, it is very cozy and comfortable place, located inside a private condo so it was very safe too. We liked our room, next to the pool and close to the waterfront. Great value of the place was the hospitality of Ezequiel, the owner of the place, he did his best to make us feel comfortable and happy. One of the best moments of our stay was the boat trip which we highly recommend. Hotel is little bit outside of town (what we really liked) so we recommend to go there by car, rather using public transportation.

Directions to the place are an utter disaster. It's actually 35 k away from Angras dos Reis ( towards Paraty) the milestone 509 is also a myth...

The place is actually in a condo and no signage indicates where to go. Once you have manged to ask your way, only few people will have ver heard of rua do Bosque... Once you have manged into the condo you will have to watch out for Pastellaria Evelyn and then negotiate a drive down a slope similar to a ski jump to park your car (don't worry, getting back up is even more challenging in a small car). That said, nice room, good service, nice location near the canal, but it is a condo...

We stayed for 4 nights on this beautiful, amazing place. It was one of the most relaxing vacation that we had; this nice, peaceful boutique hotel seems to be a little paradise: exotic calm atmosphere, good food and fantastic welcoming staff, specially the owner ! What can you desire more?

For sure, if we will have the opportunity to visit this beautiful country, this hotel will be on the list of our first choises! Thank you all for an unforgetble stay!

I stayed at the Angra dos Reis Boutique Hotel for 5 days and loved every minute of it. The hotel's best quality is its balance between maintaining professional, attentive hospitality and a caring family atmosphere. Its also located within a beautiful and safe neighborhood, so I didn't hesitate to relax and enjoy my stay. The owners are absolutely wonderful- a hard-working, friendly bunch that make their customers their #1 priority.

The restaurant boasts authentic, fresh menu items and I could see that they keep the kitchen area CLEAN, which is very important to me. They also make a mean caipirinha ;) The room was clean, well furnished, had great air conditioning, and I fell in love with the spacious shower. A gorgeous pool is the centerpiece of the establishment, but you also have the choice to go on a boat tour (a service offered by the hotel). The tour is completely worth it; I was so glad that my friend and I could see all of the beautiful islands up close. You can also get to a nearby beach in 5-10 minutes.

Overall, I didn't want to leave. I always had the choice between relaxing or going on an adventure- the perfect mix :)

We stayed 6 days in the hotel and we had a wonderful experience.

The room was spacious, clean and quite separated from the rest of rooms.
Breakfast was very healthy, plenty of fruits and the staff makes very nice omelette!
Ezequiel, the owner is probably the most helpful host we had, he always went out his way to help, made our stay extremely welcome, it feels like staying one of your friends's house rather than the hotel! Thank you again Ezequiel!

We would strongly recommend this place, it is very safe, within walking distance to the beach and you certainly will enjoy the hospitality from everyone!
