Not a bad word to say about this place. Very helpful, friendly staff and nice little setup. Maybe slightly further from the historic centr, but only if you were lazy! Would certainly recommend for a young travelling couple.

The pousada has a nice garden and pool area. However, the rooms are not what one expects for the price: not clean enough, not well maintained. The breakfast buffet is not very inviting, the whole room is full of flies. The staff seemed unable to smile (only one young guy managed to be nice and accomodating). We really felt like...

Pousada Palmeira Imperial is a nice, functional hotel in Paraty. Location is one block from the bus station so it is convenient to carry luggage from bus to hotel. Street is quiet. Hotel has spa which is nice for relaxing in the evening. Short walking distance to the old town. Paraty is small enough to walk all the streets in...

Nice location, staff, breakfast, pool, steam sauna, jacuzzi... Rooms new & functional, maybe slightly "boring" and hammocks/sofas could be added in front of every room, but nothing to complain in general. Good pousada and definitely worth the price!

Spent horrible 2 nights.. Avoided the room at all times. Common areas are nice, and staff is fine. The room has been painted but that is not renovation. The smell of damp in the room, old bath, freaky shower with fix temperature and bulky beds... Two glasses were broken in our window. I don't get where positive comments come from....

We stayed at the annex building, which is closer to the historic town (just one block). It has 5 five brand-new rooms and it's way cheaper (but with the same good service) as the main building. The room has a good size, all expected amenities and a big bathroom. It's well lit, spotlessly clean, has a pleasant smell and is...

I travelled here to Paraty with my best friend and our Carioca friend from Rio. We stayed for 2 nights. The amenities were great - a small pool with a little waterfall was very refreshing in the mornings and at night. There is also a steam room and a hot tub. The hot tub is not very hot (by North...

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and her husband and my younger sister. We had our own rooms and loved our stay. The staff are wonderful and always tried to help. The weather was dreary however the staff would happily accommodate us with drinks in the spa at the end of each day. The property is close...

Had a great stay at the hotel. Our room was very big and comfortable. The weather was not great, but the staff surely made up for it. Danillo, Fabrizio, and Fabio where hilarious and very accommodating. It is definitely worth while to sit at the bar and say hello to them. The hammocks were very comfy. The Tamirand beach to...

Pousada is lovely. With a walled area from the street with lovely plants and a wonderful covered porch with chairs and hammocks.Additional hammocks in the yard. They have a steam room, jacuzzi, and pool along with a bar and tables and chairs around the pool. Great location minutes from the bus station and a short walk to town. Room had...

“In the reception, ask for rooms in the annex (if you want to stay closer to the historic town; if you prefer to use the hotel facilities, stay in the main building); make your reservation earlier on the internet to get the best prices. Rooms in the back for the annex are quieter”
