I really love Pardieiro, since the first time I've been there in 1982! the property is nice, the gardens beautiful, welcoming service, good breakfast and fair price....it's my place to stay anytime I go to Paraty...

in the right area, very good service, super rooms and great breakfast. Nice pool in the centre of lush gardens. The prices are good and reasonable givent he quality of the service you get. I would really recommend it to couples who enjoy some silence and serenity.

This is a nice property in the centre of Paraty with lush gardens and nice cosy corners. Breakfast is excellent, though buffet service is only offered when occupancy exceeds a minimum. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, then lighting however is very poor, a hammock in front of the cupboard was out of place and the small bathroom was...

Its best days are over. The room was dated as is the whole place. Service was bad to terrible, except for Charles whose is a sweetheart and could work at any 5 star hotel anywhere in the world. Marcos was downright rude, the others were plain. Overall, the experience was not that great for a rather expensive place. Avoid it...

A cosy piece of old Paraty. Fantastic staff. Very silent and comfortable. Nice pool. Best place in Paraty. Old houses transformed in rooms, traditional furniture, excellent air con. 200 meters from animated streets.

I took my mom and her partner to Paraty for a few days to show them around and we stayed at the Pardieiro - it is absolutely stunning inside. The grounds are immaculately landscaped and there are many areas to hang out in scattered around the grounds - chairs, tables, sofas, hammocks - but very sophisticated looking. The location is...

Nice place, with exotic decoration, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, nice location, near old town. The only negative thing was the parking lot which was very small and narrow. Inside the hotel is also very calm...a perfect place to rest.

The hotel is located in the historic core of Paraty on a quiet cul-de-sac. The grounds are filled with lush green plants, several communal libraries or sitting rooms and an inviting pool. The hotel staff was very kind. The pool and grounds are the stand outs here! There is internet throughout the hotel. Poolside food service is available. There are...

There are nmany aspects of this Pousada that I like very much, but also there are some which are not so good. The location is very good at the very end of a busy street in Paraty. However insde the Pousada is very silent. The reception people are very friendly and prestative. The gardens very relaxing with an air of...

Well... we are used to stay at Hotel Coxixo, but it was sold and now is "Pousada Literária" and they had no vacancies in the period of FLIP ( Paraty International Literature Festival ) an anual encounter of writers of all around the world. We are green partners at the FLIP. We have never been there, in this hotel. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pousada Pardieiro activities began in 1968 with the purchase of a house in Tenente Francisco Antônio Street 72, where he worked on a small pension in precarious condition, a old house in disrepair. Hence the origin of the name, which continues today to mark the contrast of its evolution over the years. The founding members were the actor Paulo Autran and the lawyer Fabio Vilaboim Carvalho, attracted by the peace, tranquility and beauty of Paraty. Other properties were acquired and adapted to the Inn with the authorization and monitoring of IPHAN (National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage).Today, with 27 apartments, stands out as a typical hotel project in the kinds fits in harmoniously historical context of the old town itself, without breaking the local architectural standards and in full harmony with the landscape bathed by the sea and surrounded by tropical vegetation of the Atlantic region. ... more   less
