Good hostel in a good location, security taken seriously and very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Bar was not that lively and the triple bunk beds were not only uncomfortable but also a health and safely risk. The 9 and 12 bed dorms were very cramped with minimal storage space.

Very pleased I chose to stay here. I was encouraged by the good reviews and they weren't wrong. Very clean, comfortable and convenient location. Extremely helpful staff that are always around if you need anything or you want advice for anything. The breakfast is standard and you can get wifi everywhere in the hostel.

We couldn't have asked for a better hostel to start our South America trip! The location, overall cleanliness, breakfast and communal facilities are excellent - but what truly makes this hostel better than any other I've stayed in is the staff. They were always going out of their way to help us and created a fantastic, friendly and welcoming atmosphere....

Hey, I do not usually Mohgt Write a review and mostly no bad reviews .but my experience hostel was unfortunately not very good! It started small, terrible room for 12 people crowded Do not be surprised that someone will wake you in the night That's just a complete floor of all cases. Stayed here for 2 weeks, and didn't want to leave. Breakfast is awesome (watermelon and freshly baked bread and brownies every morning), just like the crew, who always seem to be contagiously cheerful. There is usually someone to hang out with at the bar in the hostel, but there's no noise if you want to catch an early night. They...

My friends and I enjoyed our time in walk on the beach hostel. The staff at the reception were very helpful however the rooms and bathrooms were extremely small. The worst thing about this hostel is the sky scraper bunk beds. The bunks were unbelievably high (three storey) and had no bars as a safety precaution.

Thanks for your review. Our rooms are exactly as shown on our website. Since they are dorm rooms, and the one you chose to stay was a large one, they might get busy when we are working on capacity. Private rooms tend to be more comfortable in that sense, but also pricier. We have plenty of bathrooms around the hostel,...

So I got to the hostel way before check in and had a really warm welcome. Until check in time, they let me use the hostel facilities and have breakfast. The breakfast is pretty standard, there's very good WiFi, comfortable beds and showers, but most important: good people. The bar upstairs has a really good atmosphere, people are all very...

Took my Mom and then my husband here for dinner. The restaurant is right on the water. You can hear the waves at night. If you eat early the view is gorgeous. The restaurant is attached to a wonderful inn- Henderson Park Inn. The food was excellent. My favorite is the grilled lobster tail with saffron rice and grilled asparagus...

Great place to stay in Copacabana, near everything you need, the staff is very nice and are always trying to help you in everything, good breakfast, the bar could be better but sometimes it depends on the people that stay in the hostel, I really liked this place, they give you a free caipirinha!, enjoy!

Went to Rio via bus and arrived way before check in. The area around the hostel is safe and a stone throw away from the nearest bus stop. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful I have ever experienced. The facilities is great for Brazil, the wifi is fast and true, the showers is hot, the bar is amazing...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
