We stayed at Casa Mosquito over the New Year for our first visit to Rio. It is in a fantastic location between Ipanema & Copacabana up a quite steep winding road. We had one of the rooms in the new building which gave us amazing views (although even more steps to climb). The staff were always extremely helpful & friendly....

This is the second time I've stayed at Casa Mosquito - the first time in the old house in a beautiful room facing the back courtyard, and this time in the brand new building up on a hill overlooking Ipanema and Copacabana with INCREDIBLE views (and a little bit of a hike up stairs, so be aware of this). The...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Mosquito in the end of August 2014 for five nights. It is just such a great place, close to the Posto 8 end of Ipanema and not that far from Copacabana and Lagoa, for that matter. It is basically a 10 minute walk up a steep, winding cobblestone street from the General Osorio...

Located in the heart of Ipanema beach where everything happens. Just loved everything about the place, from the refinement of the decor and the kindness of the owners. The house is full of life and they are growing bigger, which is great for the next season.

We stayed here over the World Cup so prices were a bit steep then what they would normally be. We had a wonderful stay. The staff are fantastic, Rosa especially made our stay even better with all her restaurant and bar suggestions. It's a great location, very close to the main Ipanema and Copacabana beach areas. Decor is stunning, feels...

Very attractive setting and we liked the fact that it is set back from the main tourist area but still very accessible. The B&B is tricky to find, but once you do and work out your bearings, the location is great for Ipanema and Copa Cabana.
