If backpacking on a budget is more your style, then check out Limetime Hostel Rio. Famous for their cool atmosphere and Caipirinha party nights, you’ll meet a lot of great people and have a lot of fun!

I came to Rio over New Years and LimeTime was the perfect place to stay. The staff are incredible, so friendly and fun, and the rooms were clean and comfy. If you want to party, this is a great place to stay as the staff knew how to get everyone in the mood, and the free caipirinha is obviously always...

Great location, friendly/helpful awesome staff, safe, free caipirinhas! Very great stay here & I will come back. In fact, I left & did come back! Tons of restaurants nearby, metro, all blocks away. You can walk to the beach in about 20-25 minutes or less. Uber for only few dollars in 10minutes.

We visited lime time for our stay in Rio. The place is clean, has a kitchen you can use, and organises regular events. Every night you get free cocktails too - a classic Rio Caiprinha! It's not the biggest of hostels but had a good vibe. Stayed in another hostel in Rio in copacabana but preferred this one. Pretty safe...

Great location, facilities, environment and staff. Felt really comfortable chilling with other guests at the reception/bar, and drinking caipirinha. Very good to find company for partying too. Staff just wants us to have fun.

When your top priority in a hostel is looking to meet new people and have a good time, look no further than LimeTime, it's great. But make no mistake, everything else about this hostel is quite average.

Good vibes and very social. Great location and helpful staff - they show you the local places in Rio. It's right by a supermarket and there is a kitchen so for the budget traveller, you can cook all your own meals easily. Wifi is not in all the rooms and the beds are not that comfortable. But you can easily...
