We stayed at this hotel cause it was easy to get everywhere either by metro or taxi. The metro station was less than 5 min walk or if you prefer the hotel doorman would call a taxi. Copacabana beach was 10 min walk.
We loved Rio but it was despite this hotel and in no way because of it. The positives about this hotel are the location- near to lots of things and other bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance - and the fruit was good...More
The best part about the hotel was the top storey swimming pool, with helpful staff.
Thereafter matters went down hill. I thought the l location was ok, four blocks form Copacabana in a safe enough area. Everything was very basic, though our room was cleaned...More
Rooms small but ok. Hanging space minimal. Shower-room small but ok. Small towels.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
