Really love the location of this hotel, 5 minute walk from both Copacabana and Ipanema Beach. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance and you can easily get to the Hippie Market on Sundays from there. The breakfast buffet was great however I...More

This hotel accommodated us very well. There were 4 adults staying in the room, but it never felt cramped. It was cleaned efficiently every day (we stayed there 4 nights) and the morning breakfast (included in the cost) was fantastic. The location was excellent, right...More

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.

I believe that there is on the side parking for hotel guests. Having visited Rio some 40 or 50 times, I feel compelled to likewise tell you that it's not exactly the city you want to drive in. Public transportation is excellent including Uber. You can walk from Copacabana to Ipanema in minutes. Parking is never easy anywhere in Rio. Driving patterns are completely different in Brazil....
The question I really ask is: why rent a car in Rio???? Are you imagining that Rio is like an American city just in South America and signed in Portuguese?
