This hotel is in an excellent location for both the beach and all the tourist information centres that give you all the info you need. Clean, well presented and with an excellent breakfast offering, we enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to other travellers.

This hotel is not very modern nor very basic, but it's well run, clean and in a good location, just down the street from Copacabana beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and also assisted in booking trips for me to all the main sights. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the coffee was excellent. I'd stay here if...

Keeping in mind I was there during the FIFA World Cup, I found this hotel well located if you were keen to take a short stroll to the beach or one of its many bars or eateries. Limited avaialability meant that we probably didnt have our choice of the best rooms on offer, but never the less, the rooms were...

I would like to start off by saying I am a travel agent, and have been for over 15 years. One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is connecting with the different hotels and companies all over the world on a daily basis. This experience is the worst I have had to date. I called on multiple locations...

We stayed at this hotel for over a week, with nothing but trouble. The breakfast was missing basic things like plates and cups, which could take up to 15 minutes to get. For the entire week the elevator was broken with no attempt of fixing. In the end, they made up a story of a broken elevator, which they claimed...

Dear Guest, sorry if at any time the Hotel service was not efficient. But the Hotel only charge the elevator pieces, that were broken by you intentionally as shown in the movie of our monitoring system.

I have just returned from a month in South America and most of my time was spent in Brazil. I stayed at this Hotel twice for convenience of travel connections. At first it looked quite a nice medium sized boutique hotel. However this hotel failed to provide basis services such as a working lift - it was broken for over...

We have stayed at Augustos for a week during Rio carnival. The location is right in the middle of Copacabana. The room was spacious. We stayed in 1004, cleaned every day, beds comfortable. The air on a bit noisy, but after a night out you are not really bothered about it ( if you are a light sleeper take earplugs)....

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
