We stayed here for 6 nights over the New Year period and this hotel is in a fantastic position to enjoy all the festivities both from the beach and the the hotel rooftop - NY Eve fireworks viewed from the hotel rooftop were unbelievable
The hotel is located on Avenida Atlantica which separates the hotel from Copacabana Beach. It is also 1 block from the 2 main shopping streets which also have plenty of restaurants.

This hotel is located directly on the beach, great views day and night. 5 minute walk to the underground line, which will take you to the city or to ipanema. Feels safe at night to walk around, lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.

When you arrive at the airport, look for a taxi that will charge you a flat rate that includes you and your bags. We found out that some of the taxi's will charge for each individual suitcase and take advantage.
