#14 of 491 hotels in Sao Paulo
The Ca'd'Oro is an independent hotel, not part of any chain or group and operates in Brazil since 1953, initially as a restaurant. Operated by Guzzoni family since the foundation, whose long tradition in high-class hotel originated in Switzerland in 1910, following then to Italy and finally Brazil, over 4 generations, passed down from father to son. Its central location, close to Avenida Paulista is "close to everything." Since its foundation until today, was the hotel that received the most important figures who visited São Paulo and is part of the history of the city. In 2009 we started a complete process of revitalization, knocking its 3 towers and forming a new design concept "mixed use" encompassing a residential tower and a second divided into commercial offices and the new Hotel Ca'd'Oro. The hotel now has 147 rooms, 6 event rooms, panoramic pool and fitness center, sauna, library as well as its famous restaurant. The Ca'd'Oro has always been considered beyond the more traditional, more welcoming and one of the best kitchens of. His restaurant continues to be a star of the already over crowded setting of the gastronomic attractions of the city, and the northern kitchen precursor of Italy in Brazil. The Ca'd'Oro word is the name given to a palace located on the Grand Canal in Venice, used in antiquity to host distinguished guests ( "DOGI") on an official visit to that city. Today a museum, literally means in Venetian dialect "Golden House"

Ten stars! The Ca' D'Oro is like staying at a St. Regis in the middle of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The highlights: Wonderful, personal staff, who remembered and remarked I was a repeat visitor, and gave me a room with a spectacular view in recognition of the loyalty. Spotless, gloriously-quiet and well-designed rooms, something that is a rarity in São Paulo. Lovely common amenities, including a library space and a really nice rooftop pool. Breakfast is also excellent, and very good quality. But best of all is the location - who are all these drab people saying the area isn't nice? It's one of the coolest areas of São Paulo, smack dab in the middle of downtown/Higienopolis (with fantastically hip restaurants, cafés and shopping) and Paulista (which is convenient for touristy things), close to the metro L4, which gets you anywhere in the city in no time, and in a quiet part of Rua Augusta, which has bars, restaurants, and some of the best nightlife in Brazil. Parabens, Ca' D'Oro!

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel.. We arrived a little bit late but because our agent talked with them they expect us in a late time. They don't exchange money, so if you be at the weekend be sure to have reals till monday, we had a problem but thanks to the manager who helped us and give us a late check out because we are in the honeymoon. The reception people were great tried to help us a lot but sometimes they were wrong, for example they told us that the market on sunday is open but it was closed. The hotel is in the center of the city but you need a cab to go to the places... We liked our staying and thanked them for the chocolates plate that been in our room to welcome us.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and found it to be very clean, modern with a fabulous breakfast. The small pool and gym in the roof were lovely although we only went for a quick look around. The only thing that I feel let’s the hotel down is the location. Perhaps I was naive before arriving in Sao Paolo as we quickly realised that Uber or public transport really is required to get around this huge city. But I did feel that the hotel was far away from everything. At night we walked to Famiglia Mancini, only five minutes away however, when we left after dinner to find a bar in the area, it really felt quite unsafe and after wandering for 30 mins, we headed back to the room. I should say that we didn’t feel unsafe anywhere else in the city and had a fantastic night the following day in Vila Madalena. All in all, the hotel was very nice but I wouldn’t recommend for couples on holiday as the location isn’t ideal.

Thank you for staying with us ! A lot of improvements are being made in the area such as Augusta Park and Olhar Augusta Residential; both will open next year and are right across the street! Those measures and others will help the security in our neighborhhood next year !

This hotel is well located in the city of São Paulo (close to the main neighborhoods, malls and the airport). Service is really good. Raquel is really attentive at the front desk as are the other employees and Luis (waiter) gives you the best treatment in the restaurant. I truly recommend the restaurant (great breakfast, drinks and Italian food). The room is really spacious and clean, good internet connection and new furniture. Ask for a room at the 26th floor (the view is awesome). They also have a nice gym at the 27th floor (mostly treadmills and bikes - not so good in free weight and dumbbells). Sauna and swimming- pool are on the same building level (rooftop) and are simply a must go. In a nutshell, food, amenities and service are really good. Downside: you really can’t go anywhere walking but you are just a few miles from the best city spots.

Fast and friendly reception. Nice room, good bed. Bathroom a bit odd : the sink is in the bedroom. Breakfast was good, the danish pastries were even excellent : crispy and sweet. Restaurant has to be the best Italian restaurant in São Paulo : great service, delicious food and good wine. I certainly recommend this hotel !!

One of the best hospitality’s I’ve ever received. I stayed at Ca’D’Oro for 17 days, the staff greeted us very friendly and they were always so nice and available to help. The hotel is well situated, they have restaurants and malls nearby it’s a walking distance. The bedding is extremely comfortable you’ll definitely have a good night sleep and the decoration is minimal and chic. Last but not least their breakfast is amazing they’ve a variety of pastries, cereals, eggs and the list goes on.

On arrival the staff that greeted us were warm and friendly. We were given a free drink at the bar which was a nice touch. The room we stayed in was the best we stayed in the month we had in South America. The room was well styles, comfortable and perfectly appointed with a wonderful view over the city. The bar was a great place to have a drink before heading out and the breakfast was good although unspectacular. The roof top pool and Sauna were great although there was a photo shoot going on a couple of times during our stay meaning we couldn't access the pool. This was a little irritating as we were paying residents but we went to the Sauna until they were done. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if we were to return

Myself and my partner just had a wonderful meal in Cadoro Munich. The service was wonderful. We were served by the beautiful Daria. This lovely lady made our visit to Cadoro spectacular and catered to our every need. This restaurant is an absolute must if you are visiting Munich, one of the best pizzas I ever had!

We arrived late in the evening and as we approached in a taxi we were a little unsure of the area we were in, it seemed a bit rough which put us off to begin with, however, the area is fine, it's a 10 minute walk one way to lots of nice restaurants and bars and 5 minutes the other direction is the same. Our room was really nice also, the best room we stayed in during our time in South America. Spacious, modern and has a really impressive view. A great value hotel.
