Friendly staff is not enough to cover an very much needed rooms renovation. Mold on bathroom walls and floor, too used bed, sofa that shouldn't be there anymore.. Hotel was full so they couldn't offer another room. The proximity to the airport was evident in my room with airplanes noise until late night and from early morning
Terrible experience from the start. Dissonance information between the booking site (Booking.com) and the hotel reception regarding the parking fee. Then, I was proposed to leave my credit card for consumption expenses, which I didn't agree, and faced some friction to not cope with it. The receptionist said I had 2 courtesy bottles of waters which - surprise - I was charged at the check out. I felt as a suspect, and not as a guest, at this hotel. No way I'm staying ever again in the Bourbon hotels.
The hotel is not in good condition, maintenance and service is not good, staffs are not very efficient and helpful. The worst thing was that the internet is very bad most of the time. It caused big trouble for my working. Finally the checkout was very slow, and they don’t want check the minibar in my room even I reminded her that my consume is bigger than the bill.
Hotel Maintenance: (6) The hotel should have the traditional clothes iron. Since I went on a business trip, I needed to use an iron and I didn't know how to use the one the hotel had available (steam). I asked the cleaning staff for help, but they couldn't stay in the room because of the pandemic and they couldn't explain to me how to use it properly. It made a big mess in my room (water everywhere). Also it should have more people working at the lobby/front desk, specially when the hotel holds companies meetings. (Eg. Emirates Interview). We had to wait more then 20min (at many moments) to be served.
(edit... I I itially gave 3 stars, but wife said I was generous... Also loo roll holder not fixed and when asked for a mug and some glasses to use then came up on the 2nd time of askind and they charged 2 Reais) Really disappointing start to our 4 night stay. All 4 pillow cases clearly very dirty, maybe unwashed. The loo roll holder falling off (how doesn't housekeeping notify maintenance?). Arrived for breakfast at 9.15/9.30... Not enough tables for guests, most still with rubbish on and has to clean one ourselves. To top it off, a big cable laying on the floor... Terrible trip hazard especially when carrying hot drinks, potentially very dangerous. I caught my foot on it. Hot food selection for breakfast very limited. Fruit selection good. Bed comfy, maybe a bit hard but personal choice. Two different depth pillows to chose from, which is nice. Arrived late (10.45pm) due to flight, restaurant closes at 11pm which is fine but sadly no room service available. They were happy for us to have a pizza delivered. Our room had a kitchen (microwave and sink) but bizarrely no mugs, plates, cutlery.... WTF? Also, nice coffee machine we are about to try but only two coffee cups... One expresso and one cappuccino.... So both guests can't have the same drink at the same time. Shower good. Floors are hard, no carpet, so when guests in the room above move their chairs its very loud. Walls seem to transmit noise and you can hear neighbours hotel phones quite loudly.…
Best thing in this hotel is the location, unfortunately there are many other aspects the hotel could give more attention such as cleaning and customer service, I will share my experience in my staying: - Quiet room x Terrible view: I asked for a quiet room, and I received a terrible view (vis a vis with the windows from another tower), rooms are really dark, small windows and no view at all. - TV - the tv minimum volume is really loud, if you want to relax before sleep and turn on the the TV you just can´t do that because the minimum volume is too loud. Your bedroom´s neigbhor can´t watch TV at the same time due the volume. - Breakfast: there are several options however typical cheese bread is always cold and poorly stuffed. - Internal temperature (no heating) During a typical Sao Paulo winter day the bedroom temperature was 15o C, it means the floor, bedsheets, everything in bedroom is cold (hotel is not heated), bedroom temperature is almost the outside temperature what makes you fell not comfortable inside the bedroom. - Cleaning and Service - All of these would be acceptable if the service was better. Even during the Corona outbreak hotel "forgot" to clean the bedroom... In this day I arrived late in the bedroom and it was in the same way it was when I left the bedroom around 11:00am, When I arrived at the room and see it was not cleaned I called the reception requesting at least to send me toillet paper. However the service was so slow that I had to go dowstairs and pick it up by myself.…
Apart from a decent breakfast & great location nothing worked in this hotel. It wasn't clean, no complimentary water bottles. I asked for water kettle to make my morning coffee. They didn't send kettle but asked me to order "hot water" and charged me for that. The room was very dark and the lighting was super depressing. NEVER AGAIN
Location area is excellent, transport access, shopping mall near walking distance, good neighborhood, internet works fine, nice breakfast, it could have better attention at reception. Fees are good also.
I stayed for a week on business travel. Good location near a shopping center. No issues walking around the area to get something to eat in the evening. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I give it 3 starts for two reasons. The first reason reason is out of their control: the domestic airport is nearby, so you will hear airplanes landing (but no flights are allowed after 11 p.m. and before 6 a.m.). The other feedback they can actually do something about it! (I provided my feedback to the hotel management). There was no iron/iron board. When I asked for one, I was told, they don’t offer it! I will need to send the shirt to get it ironed. Seriously? This not how you make extra money! Hopefully they’ll change the policy before my next visit to Sao Paulo.
The price was the best for the area. Super safe to walk around. Next to a mall to go shopping and the staff was really nice and capable of speaking several languages, the room was clean i did not liked the shower cause it looked old but they give you plenty toiletries. Breakfast was really good with variety of food and pastries
