Gym not opened 24x7, nor Sundays and with limited shift. The overall facilities are old, but looks like they put efforts to renew it at least the rooms. As gold member of IHG I dit not received any amenities. Great location but dont deser mor than 3 stairs.

Centrally located in business district of the city. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, Extra supermarket and shops. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Suite is clean and good size, recommend ask for suite on high floor facing the courtyard to avoid traffics noise. There is a small cooking counter with microwave, sink and fridge in each suite, also has glasses and cutlery. Very convenient. Housekeeping were great and efficient, missing hair blower in my room and was delivered in a timely manner. Complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant till 10:30am. Go down early as the restaurant gets filled up fast. Nice gym within the premises and small lap pool. Overall, great and safe location for staying in São Paulo. And good for small family as well .

Inicialmente eu ficaria 5 dias no hotel, porém acabei ficando 20 dias. Todos os funcionários me trataram de maneira excepcional e eu pude ver que todos ali estavam fazendo seu melhor. Do pessoal da recepção, ao restaurante e da limpeza, todos foram incríveis!!!! Sem contar que a localização é perfeita!!! **** I was supposed to stay at Staybridge for 5 nights but ended up staying for 20 nights. Every single staff member was incredible in the way the treated me and cared for me during my stay, I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thank you so much to all the exceptional people in this place. Not to mention that the location is superb!!!

LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** Good location in the busy Itam Bibi area with loads of clubs, bars, local food stores. Safe and clean area. A lot of one-way roads, so you need to figure out how to get there and not to miss it when driving. Staybridge Suites Sao Paulo has a parking/garage and this is complimentary for guests (parking prices in SP can be normally very high). There is direct access from the garage (back side lift) and you just get there behind reception. I might be mistaken, but I think you have to have a key card to use this lift, otherwise somebody needs to come down for you. Also, when leaving the car park, you need to validate your parking ticket at reception first and then go to the parking counter. Bit time consuming, but manageable process. HOTEL OVERVIEW *** Business-orientated property, but I have found it perfectly fine for leisure stays. This was actually my second stay there and I did not even look for other options. It is located in the good area, offers good value for money for the standard it offers and also guarantees you comfortable stays in very pleasant rooms. I noticed that hotel was also used by some airlines for their crew (normally they do good hotels in general). PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure RESERVATION *** Directly on ihg.com website. Few days before my arrival IHG had a great promotion for IHG Rewards members – only 5000 points per night for standard room. I rebooked my stay (which made it even more affordable) and then I upgraded my rooms directly with the reservations department using my card. Really appreciate it. LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 3 nights – Nov 2019 CHECK-IN *** Hassle-free, professional and very quick. I was welcomed with a great smile and young, happy team of people. I was welcomed as a repeated guest and also IHG Rewards member (with some extras to choose, which was handy as I could take some water on arrival with me) and given my room keys within minutes. I also received detailed information of the IHG Rewards benefits which I could have during my stay. LOBBY & RECEPTION *** Modern and usually not too busy. You can relax in the lobby in one of those fancy big armchairs or just enjoy their Christmas decorations. Behind the reception there’s a lift which brings you to the garage (but also upstairs if you don’t fancy the glass/panoramic normal lifts). ROOM *** #3010 – 1 Queen Bed Superior Sky View – beautiful room on the 30th floor!!! Beautiful, bright, modern, spacious, fresh… Yes, I did like it before and it did not disappoint me this time. Yes, it was as perfect and as nice as I had previously. There was a hand-written letter from Guest Relations Representative and also lovely welcome gift with some local sweets & treats. Lovely gesture and I did enjoy the fact, that all were local (Brazilian) products which I could definitely enjoy. There is plenty of living and working space in the room, very comfortable Queen bed, a small sofa (love them for all my mess, haha) and some big box for your luggage (you can use it also as table or storage unit), working and storing spaces. Small kitchenette doesn’t have too much equipment, but you can get everything from reception (very good idea as not everybody, like me, would use all the kitchen utilities during their stay). The only ‘but’ I have for the single-use cups – there’s absolutely no need for them and I intended to use the same ones during my 3-day stay. Regular cups or glasses would be better idea. There’s large safety deposit box and also iron/ironing board and huge closed storage spaces. Loved the mirrors. Air-conditioner was efficient, quiet and easy to operate. But if you prefer fresh air, you can open the balcony doors… Oh yes, you have a balcony (ask at check-in cause I forgot again and had to bother somebody to open it for me, you need to sign a paper that it’s your own responsibility which is fair enough). BATHROOM *** Spotless clean and shining fresh. Good quality toiletries and fresh, fluffy towels were provided. Good lightning and ventilation. In the bathroom you can see (if you really want to find something, but you have to search) the doors are being frequently wet and the bottom of it should be maintained better (doesn’t suit the rest of the bathroom and the room). BREAKFAST *** It is complimentary and served now on the ground floor. Even if they start quite early, everything was presented nicely and looked very tempting. Happy staff welcoming you in the morning is also a good start of the day. They offer a good buffet breakfast with plenty of cold and hot meals, juices, cereals, good coffee (!!!) and selection (aaaaaaaagh, my favorite) of freshly baked cakes. Not the most complicated buffet breakfast I’ve seen, but really tasty and enjoyable. On my last day I was leaving really early (like 4 am). At reception I was advised to check if the breakfast is ready and some parts were getting ready. I did not expect that, but I was able to have my full breakfast that day as well. Thank you, I really appreciate it (and I didn’t destroy their presentation, haha). Some cabin crew (I think they’re my flight as well) had the same opportunity as I had. INTERNET ACCESS *** It is complimentary, easy to log-in and connection was stable all the time. Absolutely no hassle and did not have to re-log-in during my stay. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** It was sad to leave (again). My check-out was very quick and, as I mentioned above, I was able to grab a quick breakfast before my early morning flight. My bill was accurate and my points were accumulated on the account few days after. Standard email survey was also sent after the stay. STAFF *** I think they’re great. From pre-arrival contacts (got my answers within minutes!!!), reception, restaurant, house-keeping – they’re all very helpful. Reception staff was always willing to help and assist with the questions or simply my 50th request to validate the parking ticket (this must be very annoying for them, would be good to have some easier system for parking). OVERVIEW *** Once again, I said it before and will say it again. One of my favourite hotels. Next stay in SP of course will be there. I just need to explore more room options and see what else they have on the higher floors with balconies. No need for me to search any other hotels as I was happy with this choice – location, standard, price, value for money, staff, safety and comfort. Would I stay there again? YES, OF COURSE.

I always rate Staybridge highly, they are over my ideal budget and in general I don't like chain hotels but Staybridge is always worth the extra. Nice comfy rooms, I chose a little balcony as I like to have the fresh air. Good amenities, gym etc, decent breakfast. Reception were so very helpful, I was even able to check in and have my room at 10am, after I arrived on an early flight. I cannot be positive enough about this hotel. The only tiny issue was that it was further out of town than I had realized, but that was not the fault of the hotel ! The metro is nowhere near either, however I used the city bikes extensively throughout my stay in Sao Paulo, there was a bike station a couple of minutes from the hotel. Many food establishments and supermarkets near by too.

Pros :- Nice breakfast Good, Supportive front desk Cons :- Tiny showers and toilets ( I am 6 feet and 90KG .. the shower was just enough to accommodate me ) No courtesy to put a complimentary water bottle like any basic hotel despite of paying around 150$ per day !! Old building - old electrical switches and noisy air conditioning.. lift like a sloth .. need to renovate it very badly !! Location is not the best .. I didn’t like it personally I do not prefer here for my next time for sure. Just 2* with 4* price..

LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** Located in a very safe area of SP, close to many restaurants , clubs and local eateries. There is a secured parking under the hotel and it was complimentary for guests (you have to get the ticket validated at reception as far as I remember). The courtesy phone from the car park didn’t work, but this was fixed the following morning after reporting it. First, it was difficult to spot the building from the street level, because the logo wasn’t that visible, but I managed. HOTEL OVERVIEW *** Hm... Staybridge Suites are generally extended stay accommodation type (you may think ‘basic’), but this one is also perfect for your leisure / business short trips. This hotel is PERFECT! I travel a lot and stayed in many rooms, but this was really well above many other, even higher category hotels/brands I’ve stayed. PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure RESERVATION *** Through ihg.com website LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 2 nights – November 18 CHECK-IN *** Professional, natural staff welcomes you with a smile. Welcome letter was given, credit cards payments done (I requested in advance), additional loyalty benefit offered as my IHG Rewards status was recognized (I took extra water as I desperately needed it) and my key cards given... LOBBY & RECEPTION *** From the moment I entered their reception, I was amazed. Everything looked like it was just opened. All perfectly clean, shiny and elegant. ROOM *** #2804 – Superior Skyline Room – Premium Floor – hm... what can I say? WOW WOW WOW! I absolutely LOVED IT. After the panoramic lift to the 28th floor, I entered I had an impression I was the first guest ever in this room. EVERYTHING spotless clean, shiny, polished and perfect. Not a scratch, not a piece of dust, not a mark on glass or surface. This should be a showroom for other hotels how cleaning and maintenance is done. Honestly, not a small little thing which I’d say isn’t right there. No misplaced cables, all logos facing the guest, all plates put in a straight order... Amazed with attention to detail and their cleaning regime. But where to start? This is a studio-type suite, with a small, fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine and some dishes/items can be requested from reception). Room was bright, spacious and spotless clean. There was plenty of sitting, walking & working space there. I loved the sitting “trunk” (or dead body storage hahaha), very handy when you want guests but don’t want to keep your stuff outside. Bed was extremely comfortable and linens really fresh and pleasant. I had fantastic all night sleep, both nights. There was a small balcony and this was fantastic to have it on the 28th floor! São Paulo is still taller than that, but I had spectacular views and could see many buildings from above and also landing airplanes and heliport on top of the building (as you have them in SP). Also, there was bottle water in the room, but if you needed more, they had a complimentary bottles in the corridor (and apples). BATHROOM *** Beautiful! Snow-white and sparkling clean! Good quality toiletries provided. Again, this looked like showroom in the shop, not an actual bathroom. It was absolutely perfectly clean. Not a single thing missed. BREAKFAST *** It was complimentary and served downstairs. I have to admit, I didn’t expect much. Just basic stuff and coffee. I arrived just minutes after they started and everything was ready. It wasn’t for sure the richest or the most complicated breakfast, no, it wasn’t, but definitely there were more than enough to leave full for the day. Everything was displayed in a perfectionists manner and they kept it this way during the entire service. Staff was amazing and also offering more hot items if needed. I had more than enough from the buffet choice and I was really impressed with the professional, but relaxed staff. This is how you start your day well! I said to them, that this is one of the prettiest breakfast displays I’ve seen. (not as choice, but hot it’s plated and shown to the guests). Again, this should be a showroom for other Staybridge Suites hotel. This is HOW IT’S DONE! INTERNET ACCESS *** Complimentary, easy to log-in, no problem with connection. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** Completely hassle-free and very helpful with the baggage (left for few hours as I didn’t want to drive around with it all day). My IHG Rewards points were accumulated few days later. STAFF *** Fantastic! Professional in all ways, but at the same time relaxed and natural. Perfect combination. Reception very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast serving staff – welcomed all guests with a smile and natural conversations. Housekeeping – very polite and skilled (I’m still amazed how perfectly clean my room was). OVERVIEW *** One of my most favourite hotels I’ve stayed. Not the most luxurious (not that there’s anything missing), not the most expensive (it was actually fantastic value for money for the standard, location & service), but very enjoyable. Only 2-night stay but I felt really good there and I just booked another 3 nights for this year’s trip. SP has probably 5000 hotels and I checked only this one for my next stay in November – why? I really loved it (as above) and I do feel this is the best choice. And I have absolutely no doubts. I actually can’t wait! I definitely recommend this place to short & long stay guests. Great staff, safe area, beautiful rooms and amazing city views!

This continues to be a solid and reliable hotel in Sao-Paulo standards. Rooms are always impeccably clean, great front desk service, comfortable bed, smooth bed sheets, free parking, unbeatable location. Internet could be a bit faster though. Not the fastest by any means but you can always go to the downstairs mall and use the free internet there. Pretty fast compared to the hotel's. I wish they had a place where one could refill water bottles to avoid single use plastics. Other than that, everything is 5 stars like always.
