In a recent new stay, I reevaluate the hotel, keeping the same previous opinion of a good location considering the interest in the region to be visited in the city of Sao Paulo .In other respects, I took the unfortunate of precarious attendance, with rude staff, temporally to a disastrous checkin: misinformation, lack of sympathy, devaluation of the guest. The Mercure brand, linked to the Accor chain, translates into strict customer service in several hotels that I have had the opportunity to stay in, which makes me excited to select the hotels of the group, as well as strongly suggest to others who ask me for guidance hosting. This unit does not represent the group. There are other miscellaneous options in the region .

This hotel is terrible. I am staying here in business. I was first put in a room that had bugs all over including bed. Then I was moved to a dark and dingy room. My bathroom is leaking and tv not working. I tried to change rooms but was not possible. I don't reccomend this Hotel for personal or business. I'm very frustrated and wish I had the option to leave but timing doesn't make sense. Thanks Jana

First visit to São Paulo and even to Brazil...well, I went to a conference, and this was the recommended hotel. The hotel was average...the breakfast was ok, nothing special, the service of the restaurant was really bad.

I had to stay for more than 15 days, our stay was very good, to improve I would suggest a few things: (1 The wlakies talkies of the cleaning and maintenance staff can be adjusted to a lower volume as they are overly loud, beyond (2) After a long stay at the hotel, the ideal would be to facilitate the stay, not only to inform that the hotel would be crowded and should leave the place, without (3) The refectory during the cold was a refrigerator, because the walls are glass and without any type of heating, extremely uncomfortable during breakfast. Positively highlight the excellent food of the self-service lunch and the attendance of food of 24 hours, presentation, taste and quality. The courtesy of the reception desk is to be commended.

Hello Travelers, I am staying in this Hotel and I am really pissed off with services and probably, I will move out. This is first time I had selected AccorHotel Group. My experience is totally shattered. Please get some complaints related points below: > Being 4 star hotel, there should be 24/7 multilingual support on reception but in really, they only speak Portuguese 2/3 or a day. As per hotel website, they support English. In Emergency, there is no one to support. > This morning, there is no hot water supply in bathroom. I tried to reach reception but they couldn't understand me because they don't speak or understand English. > Housekeeping: Bed Sheets and quilt covers should be changed properly but most of the time, I found out that they don't change it and you need to ask for change. It is really you expect from AccorHotel Group? > There are Ants in my room everywhere. Today, I had wore my suiting and later, I got to know that Ants were inside. I can't do anymore because I reached office. > Hotel Manager is not reachable anytime. Well, I am going to publish an article on AccorHotel on their services and will make sure my corporate should block you from their preferred hotel list. Thanks Pawan DIDWANI +49-1743085597

I stayed here for three nights, and chose the location because I wanted somewhere reasonably close to Teatro Renault, there wasn't anywhere decent in the immediate vicinity and I had heard that Bela Vista was a reasonably safe, residential area. The area turned out to be ok, fairly quiet and not to far from the main parts of Bela Vista and Paulista Avenue. It's not great for metro, the nearest station is a 10-15 minute walk away, it isn't immediately obvious, and involves a few perilous road crossings. It's quite far from Downtown São Paulo. The hotel itself was very nice, usual standard you would expect from a Mercure in terms of room and interior in general. My shower temperature was a little temperamental, but it wasn't a major issue. It's a very tall hotel so it's possible to be on some very high floors, thankfully there are three lifts. The reception staff were very friendly, there was usually at least one person on duty who spoke fluent English. They were great on advising me about safety at night and good places to go on Paulista Avenue. Socket-wise I had read that Brazil had a mixture of USA and EU sockets so I brought those adapters, but the hotel sockets were completely different again. The hotel staff were able to provide me with a travel adapters to EU which was great. I had breakfast all three mornings I was there. The offerings were of good quality and the variety was ok. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of choice of coffee. The only negative thing was on my first morning, after I just sat down to eat my first round, a group of around 60-80 people (who were clearly together) descended on the breakfast room all at the same time. The room wasn't really big enough for all of them and it made accessing the food hard, and generally unpleasant for the rest of the patrons. Fortunately when I brought it up with the staff, they said it wouldn't be happening again during my stay. One final note, São Paulo is very hilly, especially Bela Vista! Don't expect a flat walk to most places!

A Mercure quality hotel with courteous and agile service. Fast checkin service, without much bureaucracy, very clean apartment. Bathroom with a spectacular shower. Negative points: noises that bother day and night by the proximity of a large avenue, very busy, especially in the apartments on lower floors

I try to stay brand loyal but this hotel is making me question if it is worthwhile. On the surface the staff are all very friendly and seems to be very helpful but the moment you walk away they will forget about you and what they committed to do. Part of the hotel has seen a recent renovation, I cannot say anything bad about the quality if the rooms except for the lack of water pressure in the showers on the 15th floor. The room had a very nice balcony but no furniture and therefore not possible to enjoy. The additional charge for breakfast is R$38.00 - this is really not worthwhile and probably the worst Mercure breakfast I have encountered in this group. It is much better value and quality to walk across the street to have a quick breakfast and coffee. On Saturday morning when I checked out, the elevators were not working, not fun to have to walk down 15 flights of stairs with a stress fracture in your foot....... and ZERO apologies or explanation from the staff. It is also not possible to get an early breakfast if you are checking out early, not even a decent cup of coffee - this definitely can be addressed by the management.

Dear Hendrik Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely Juliana Souza/Assistant Manager

Near Beneficiencia Portuguesa and Oswaldo Cruz as well as AC Camargo, this hotel has a business atmosphere and is handy to anyone that need to stay nearby, for meetings or medical treatment. Employees very attentive to your needs, speak English and Spanish pretty well. The traffic by the end of day in this area of SP is always standstill, so expect for some delay when waiting for a taxi or Uber. The Subway is not too far if you're able to walk 10-15min. For the hospitals otherwise, the car is needed as you `climb the hills` to get to them.
