Ibis hotels are relatively the same around the world. Generally good. This was fine. Rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable. Small but I was out most of the time. I booked this hotel purely because of location. Right in the heart of a busy main road with shopping and restaurants nearby as well as transport links and a few museums. Tourist attractions in Sao Paulo are spread out across the city so wherever you stay, you will need to take some form of transport to get there. It's a big, bustling city. I loved this location which was perfect to come back to. There was a bar downstairs too. Staff were pleasant. This is a safe area. Parts of Sao Paulo are not very safe but this was fine. If your looking for a good location, basic but clean room, comfortable bed and a hot shower, then this is perfect. The hotel had a nice atmosphere.…
I spent only one night in ibis Paulista. Very nice and helpful service at the reception, security and restaurant. Easy to reach all places in São Paulo by public transport or cab. Diogo at the reception was very prefessional.
A visit between Christmas and New Year to this hotel was a rewarding experience. Unbeatable location on Ave Paulista and easy access to two metro line stations. Breakfast was quite sufficient. The only real problem was the intermittent wifi with the 10th floor being badly affected at times with a wifi signal that comes and goes. This should be fixed without delay
Stayed 4 nights on a brief visit from Canada. Checked-in by Jessica, who was pleasant and helpful. Clean and comfortable room with a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast started at 06:30 and was the best we have had at an Ibis. Only disappointment was the coffee - and in Brazil ! Steps from a Metro station and the excellent transit system. Likely to return next year and travel outside of the City.
As they say: You generally know what you will get when you opt for an Ibis Hotel. The hotel is centrally located. You have quick access to public transportation, a 24 hour store across the street, a mini-fridge, excellent AC, a tv with CNN in English and a French channel. The breakfast was excellent. Each day had some different cold and hot options. They had gluten free bread as well. In our case, the room was immaculate and the staff cleaned it well all week. Where we were not as thrilled is that we were told that it was a king size bed but it is barely a queen size bed. In terms of toiletries; it is the minimum. We would have appreciated more than 2 towels since I used them on top of the cardboard pillows. Other Ibis offer courtesy water bottled when you arrive. But this one did not even have glasses. I was surprised that there was nobody who spoke English at the front desk. We needed a doctor and it was a young guest of the hotel who helped us. To top if off, our luggage were lost so we were trying to tell them to let us know as soon as they arrive. We finally checked in. Google translated it and brought the translation downstairs. We might be wrong to expect English to be spoken but we have been all over the world using Accor and never had that problem.…
The Ibis Paulista is excellent, the best location in town, a team of top professionals, delicious meals. One problem that remains is the poor hygiene of cutlery and plates. This needs to be corrected urgently.
the bed was not confortable, and the enviroment during tonight is noisy. the breakfast is very good. location is the best, have many transportation ways (metro, bus, taxi, uber, and mainly by foot). It is a good option.
The Ibis Paulista is a gem of a hotel located on Paulista Avenue, one of São Paulo’s main arteries in one of the country’s important business centers. Because the Ibis Paulista is a true bargain, I have stayed there whenever I’ve spent time in São Paulo during the past ten years. The hotel is well managed and its staff is always very attentive. The breakfast buffet offers a pleasing spread of international breakfast standards: fresh fruits, juices, a variety of coffees and teas, cereal, breads and pastries, eggs accompanied by a selection of meats that vary day by day. Computers are available in the lobby, and there is no charge to use them. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. A variety of coffee shops and restaurants are literally steps away from the hotel. Within a three-block radius one can find dozens of restaurants and cafes, including three Starbucks. In fact, one Starbucks is literally around the corner from the hotel and can be reached without crossing any streets. For those so inclined, within a three-block radius there are also two McDonald’s and a Burger King. Within walking distance of the hotel is the world class São Paulo Art Museum. Two blocks from the hotel is the country’s largest bookstore, Livraria Cultura. For those who enjoy shopping, two shopping malls (Shopping Cidade São Paulo and Top Center) are about 12-15 minute walking distance from the hotel, and there is also the Center 3 located two blocks away. Though Center 3 is a bit small when compared to the city’s other malls, its ample food court is quite popular. One of the city’s best sit down bakeries, Padaria Bella Paulista, is located less than two blocks from the hotel. It’s a great place for people watching while having coffee or tea with pastry.Taxis are readily available. Just ask for one at the front desk and a taxi will come out of the hotel garage for you.…
São Paulo is not cold, but this time was extremily cold. And the equipament wasn't working. So, I have never felt so cold in my life. But the hotel is a good place do stay, clean, comfortable, very good service and an excelent location.
Always a good option for a stay. The location is superb: Paulista Avenue, the heart of the city at this time. There is a subway station nearby and you can get cabs or similar ways to reach easily the other city atractions. Accor quality in an affordable manner.
